I’m always fascinated with the cardiac and neuro systems and of all the years I’ve spent in school, no one have ever explained the cardiac system in a such cool, calm collected and detailed way. It also made me excited when I was in nursing school and did learn of this fact. That was the late 1980s and it still amazes me to this day.

Praise the Lord I don’t have to make my heart do all this through force of thought! There is so much going on without any help from us or that is all we would accomplish! Not to mention all our other organs and cells are busy as well. Again, I am so enjoying your class. Glad I found you.
Of course you make an obvious point, but the interesting thing is it is by no means obvious to most people. As you say, each organ and cell functions along without us thinking about it. Often organs are controlled by the nervous system or endocrine system. For example the heart rate is regulated by the autonomic nervous system. But then it's amazing that each cell within an organ functions as an individual unit, doing some pretty amazing stuff.
I guess the main point is we are left free to get on with our lives, making decisions and doing things, it's all a bit weird really.
Dr. John Campbell I can’t wait to listen to more of your videos. I homeschooled my children and I wish I had found you earlier. But I still love to learn and you are the best I have heard. Yes, it is “weird”. We cannot even begin to fathom the mind of God. Even the “simple” cell isn’t simple as you obviously know😊. And you have been gifted by God to make the complex understandable to the simple but inquisitive mind.
