      @@YassinHM I looked this up right I watched your video. I was a little shocked at the price but something this nice I think it would be worth saving up for. I’ve always been a hammock camper but I messed around and had 5 kids that are old enough to want to go with me now so I gotta change it up and I think this would suit us all pretty nicely.

    I'm a year late Sr but I figure "better late than never😁"
    What I would of said a year ago is "SWEET SETUP FOR YOU AND Ur WIFE. AND THERE'S STILL ENOUGH ROOM FOR A FEW LITTLE ONES IN THE FUTURE"
    I just bought the 14ft White Duck Regatta Hot Tent. So next on my list is to buy the exact same Winnerwell stove before it jumps up 40% in price in Bidens America.
    Just one question, are you thinking of buying the double walled chimney piece that's meant for the part that goes through the stove jack for extra protection? And did you spray Ur tent with any kind of spark/fire repellent?

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  Год назад

      No and no, there’s a spark arrestor on the stove so no sparks, and with the tent I have, the stove pipe is near the centre of the tent so there’s no real concern for a drooping wall or something to make contact with the pipe, at least in my case.
      And yes LOL I definitely could’ve said that 😂
      This is a family sized tent no doubt. The tent you went with is an excellent choice as well, I hope you enjoy your setup as much my friend, all the best. If I would do anything differently, I’d get the bigger stove, and the woodsman version. The version I have only has glass on 2 sides but allows you to hang the water tank on top or on the side, the woodsman version you have 3 looking glasses to bring out great light although you can only place the water tank on top. A trade off I would’ve done.
      If any of this helped I’d appreciate a like/subscribe, would mean a lot, happy camping!

    Looks like a Luxe Megahorn XL. I have a Nomad Large and. Trying to decide between the smoker and the oven.

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  2 года назад +1

      Way bigger than a luxe megahorn.
      If it helps, the oven doubly serves as a decent heat sink, in those really cold nights you can open the oven door to keep it a little warmer. Oven it heavy though.

    • @Breal191
      @Breal191 2 года назад

      @@YassinHM the MH XL is 15x15x9’, so i wouldn’t say way bigger. It’s less than half the price though. It’s got the double zippers which is handier than i thought. What i like about yours is that the zipper reaches the top so you can really open it up if you wanted. To those that think it’s hard to keep these tipis warm because of their height, it’s not an issue.

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  2 года назад

      @@Breal191 it’s the 12 person tipi. 19.8x19.8x13 if I’m not mistaken.

  • @joeski10
    @joeski10 Год назад

    That's a good stove but in my opinion the tent is too high all the heat rises to the top of the tent and it wouldn't be warm and cozy at ground level maybe if you have a small fan blowing some of the warm air towards the ground level it would be better and wormer in the tent, just my two cents worth.

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  Год назад

      Certainly!
      When it’s really cold that’s exactly what I do, I have a small rechargeable fan at the top and I also hang Mylar around the perimeter of the tent, works quite well so where I’m either shirtless or in a t-shirt sometimes.
      Plus, in the winter it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make given that outdoor activities are limited so you’re in the tent much of the time, having room to walk around, stretch, perhaps make a fishing hole or two is worth the trade off of needed to chop some more wood down and hang up some Mylar sheets and a fan.

    The stove is leaking out the pot ring?

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  Год назад

      What do you mean? You mean the removable lid? Once you get the air flow right then no, nothing leaks from lid when it’s closed, even when open if you get the flow right all the smoke exits the chimney and only the fire comes through the lid when you open it.
      If you completely close the chimney then yes the smoke will not be able to exit out of the chimney and will seep through the cracks but that is why you need to play with the air-flow regulators until you can get a good flow from out your chimney.

    Great video 👍
    Does the stove pipe glow red ?

    • @YassinHM
      @YassinHM  2 года назад

      Not really, not from what I noticed. The steel is thick enough to where it doesn’t heat up that much, but it is quite hot to the touch. Perhaps the first pile section may be red hot but the upper parts of the pipe are just hot. The base though does get red hot fire sure, especially underneath and along the sides!
