You and max both. Max picked up shen during the terry legacy and even in the kof legacy he said he wanted shen to be kof15. If there is a season 3 then he pretty much has a great chance since he and Oswald are still missing from ash's team.
I don't know exactly why, but I've always loved the fact that in KOF 13, 14, and 15 pretty much everybody has 95% or better damage combos if they have full bar. I completely understand why everyone has crazy damage, since it's 3v3 with no tagging in or out.
Out of this season I'm most excited for Duo, seeing his moves and combos, it does seem like they made the execution barrier a bit simpler too. His Rekkas don't require the quarter circle motion for each attack anymore. Can't wait to try him out.
Sadly it seems very unlikely that he’ll make it this Season since the last render seems to be Hinako, hopefully they’ll make a Season 3 and they’ll include him, I really want to get the 2003 Team back together.
I haven't played KOF since 13, and I'm tempted to try 15 now that my execution is better, but the new roster is large and scary I know I'd end up going back to Kula and K' and just finding one more to play. The idea of there being even more characters added soon is incredible and a little terrifying, in that regard.
Honestly don't let the roster scare you, characters aren't that difficult to pick up (some being notable exceptions i.e. Ángel and K' to an extent) but if you are serious about learning the game I'd say the real difficulty comes from neutral and the flow of KOF, not combos or individual characters.
The more challenging thing is sticking with a consistent team to refine your gameplay 😅. Majority of the cast are easy to learn once you understand the fundamentals.
Duo lon is back at the helm after the absent appearance for the first time since kof 13. and man he looks agile and creepy with those cancel ghost charge purple mist attacks. his teleports and overhead jumping heavy punch and ghost launcher makes it such a perfect finish as a combo ender from mid screen to full screen. loved his moves a lot and also liked his ex version of cancels when he summons that yellow spark glow to start amplify his special moves or cancel supers. Loved the breakdown. Snk are delivering good classic returns and update more characters even though i dont touch kof games any longer.

Heck, so many fighting game fans tend to flip flop between wanting remixes of old tunes and original tunes. Seeing this character in KOF 2003 Reminded me so much of that KOF 2000 character named "Lin" which is a mysterious Ninja/Dark Assassin and also he reminds me of lin's association- "Ron" as well, and am glad Duo Lon is back in the new KOF Game

I think it will happen. But they make these decisions based on how much people bought the Fighter Pass or Season 2 DLC. Samsho got more seasons than 2 and that game is dead online compared to KOF XV.
If they make another season of 6 characters we'll have 12 solo characters which is enough to form 4 teams. That gives us a hint on who might be added as dlc. I can see either Daimon and Saisyu for Shingo's team and Shen Woo and Oswald for Duo Lon's team. Kim has many team members to choose from (Chang, Choi, May Lee, Jhun, Chae Lim). The last Season 2 dlc character, who is most likely Hinako, can either team up with Shingo and Daimon to form a Team Japan or team up with Sylvie to form a new Pretty Girls team. Najd is the outlier here but I actually see her teaming up with Kim since they both are justice-focused fighters. As for when they'll add another boss character, since the boss selection seems to focus on the Orochi Saga, Orochi himself is likely the obvious pick and he'll form the Orochi Saga Boss team with Rugal and Goenitz.
As much I'd like to see Orochi back, they nipped the bud with him in KOFXIV. Mostly Iori Team's ending elaborated more on the events than Kyo's Team, since Chizuru tracked his presence in Hungary, and they sealed him back while he was in a completely weak state.
As someone who is only a spectator I hope more players embrace Duo and Nadj, their design and playstyle are fun to watch. I'm so sick of the fire bros.
Very much like his XIII counterpart of losing some command normals and command grab from '03 & XI for his long range command normals, backdash, and projectile. Cant eait to see what nutty projectile combos people will come up with. Like Kim though good to see his all his rekkas are back from XI although seemingly though EX only(?) Oki and combo game looks like it will be solid.
Also I always have said the Hizoku clan members need their own adventure game possibly co-developed by Team Ninja or From Software/Bandai Namco. Lin, Ron, Duo etc would also be dope crossover character choices for Mortal Kombat. Oda stated in an interview that all Ed Boon would have to do is call and they can do the crossover.
Yeah though if an SNK character made it to MK, it's unlikely to be one of the Hizokus despite potential in general. Not saying they're bad choices but compared to the idea of seeing someone like Geese or Rugal pulling a fatality, Duo and the others have major competition.
@@dnmstarsi Yeah I Agree on the popularity. They're definitely not as popular as Geese, Rugal or some others. Main reason I would recommend the Hizoku is because they're ninjas already and they already deal in death and assassination so making fatalities for them would be simple. Most of their HDM's, Neomax and Climax supers are already Fatalities pretty much.
Next season I want every team to have four members like in 99. Unassigned characters would be put into a team and some teams would have Striker Only characters that may or may not be playable in a later season.
Duo is my favorite KOF character and I'm hopeful he will be at least mid-tier so I can see plenty of matches with at least one noteworthy player picking him up.
Goenitz came out in a very busy time for Max and the opportunity to do the boss rage just never came since, I'm checking the VOD to see if mentions him. Edit: At the very end of the Duo training, he indeed says he hasn't had the time to do Goenitz, but will eventually.
Since MK is paying homage to the 3d characters I’d like for Capcom do the same with bringing back more rival school characters or characters from EX series. KoF could the same. I’d like to see Chae Lim return.
Krohnen and Jenet need to die in the rebalance. Vanessa barely got an afternoon in the sun in comparison. Kill them, and then double tap to make sure they're dead, because they already survived one nerf and who knows when the next rebalance after this one is coming. They're not even that much better than everyone else, but enough already.
IMO this is the best roster in the KOF Saga, it's just amazing seeing all of these characters together

K' is fantastic in the current version. He might hit some nerfs when Duo comes out, but I don't think they're going to delete the character.

My biggest disappointment for Duo Lon in KOF XV is that he never got a re-design, other than that, I'm happy that he's back.
Tbh his outfit got few upgrades like more details but yeah you all want new costumes, at least he's here now.
