  • There's plenty in Japan, there's only two in the USA. Hawaii, namely Waikiki, has the two Lawson Station convenience stores that originally came from the USA but ended up in parts of Asia.
Now being a very "Japanese" store, did the owners make the Hawaii versions "Japanese" too?
It does cater to Japanese tourists, but it really has to spread it's appeal. No doubt most tourists in Hawaii don't realize the story behind these convenience stores and may just look at them as a 'souvenir' shop.
Catch the ways Lawson Station has become appealing to tourists from anywhere, and even the locals.
