As I always say, you should always look to see what 'other' independent and verifiable sources are saying - especially in a conflict situation where both sides will only give the 'information' they want (whether truthful or fabricated). Therefore, you need to check with 'independent' sources too, seek independent verification and/or evidence. As we know, independent sources and independent researchers are 'verifying' much of what's coming from the Ukrainian side. The 50 generals count is a half truth half lie by both Ukraine as well as Russia. This is the truth; A total of about 50 Ukrainian military servicemen were indeed killed varying from generals, lieutenants, officers and privates. However this happened closer around the time of the 2014 invasion, this did not happen recently with the new push beginning Feb. 24.

The war in Ukraine is also a war of information. The prevailing winds are from east to west. Ukraine could send balloons with information leaflets over Russia during the night. The leaflets could be released from the balloons over populated areas using GPS. I think that it is important to get truth out to the Russian people about the invasion.
I disagree with that. Let's take the edge cases. Lets say 100% of russian people believe Putin's propaganda. And Let's say 0% of russian people believe Putin's propaganda. Everything about the war would be exactly the same. The russian secret police have over a million members. They do everything from breaking up riots to also doing ' surveys ' where they do on the street interviews, and then harass or arrest anyone who criticizes Putin. Even if 0% of russians believe what Putin says, they still will not rally or speak out against him because they would be arrested or sent east. Therefore, you need to check with 'independent' sources too, seek independent verification and/or evidence.
As we know, independent sources and independent researchers are 'verifying' much of what's coming from the Ukrainian side. Bucha for example was proven with 'independent' satellite images of those bodies in the street during Russian occupation which verifies the statements made by Ukraine and prove Russia is lying. Considering that they have a lot of experience with (Ruzzian) generals that got killed by artillery, they would never station a general in an unsecured location like that for multiple hours, let alone multiple generals.

The 50 generals count is a half truth half lie by both Ukraine as well as Russia. This is the truth; A total of about 50 Ukrainian military servicemen were indeed killed varying from generals, lieutenants, officers and privates. However this happened closer around the time of the 2014 invasion, this did not happen recently with the new push beginning Feb. 24.

I disagree with that. Let's take the edge cases. Lets say 100% of russian people believe Putin's propaganda. And Let's say 0% of russian people believe Putin's propaganda. Everything about the war would be exactly the same. The russian secret police have over a million members. They do everything from breaking up riots to also doing ' surveys ' where they do on the street interviews, and then harass or arrest anyone who criticizes Putin. Even if 0% of russians believe what Putin says, they still will not rally or speak out against him because they would be arrested or sent east.
