we had a very significant TT this year.
@@TellusJD a remarkable one, but for the result indifferent. Jonas put minutes on Pogacar the next day, without the TT pogi would've lost as well. The TT was insane to watch, but not important for the final result
@@nicolbolas5078 Yeah but Im quite sure the TT was the turning point and the next day had looked quite different if not for that TT dominance. Pogacar got a mental beating at that one he came in expecting to beat Jonas and was defeated quite roughly. When you do your all and then still loose with a margin, its hard to fight back, and mentality does a lot for your form and what you think you can perform. Its rough in the mountains and if defeatism comes in you crack way easier.
@@TellusJD yeah but that's just speculating. Fact of the matter is neither you or me know what would have happened if. But Jonas delivering such a blow on that mountain could not have been just the trial. Even keeping up with Jonas there Pogi would've lost the tour on that day, that's just how it is. 2020 final TT was the last TT to actually decide who won the tour!
