I have perennial cyclamen in my zone 5b garden...east facing and come back every year and the clump seems to be increasing...they bloom in the fall...mine are white...very pretty when in bloom...TFS
I placed one of these my very 1st 1 in a self watering pot I use it for my African violets and they grow well but I didn't know whether or not it would work for this 1.
You missed a great talking point, I noticed one or maybe two seed heads forming. If they really age well you should be able to do a clip on propagation techniques.❤
Thanks Dave. I live in Pretoria South Africa and have my cyclamen in pots outside on the verandah. They dont get sun. Will they be happy like this or do they have to be in sunlight?
They like light. In Israel, I grew mine indoors in winter (no central heating) and kept them potted in a shady spot during summer in the garden and they did very well.
Thank you learned the basics to get me going
Thanks Dave! I've always had trouble growing cyclamen.
You and me both!

In Palestine we cook the lives same as vine leaves. I like it.
You mean you cook the leaves of cyclamen? Like grape leaves? Please explain?
