These characters were wonderfully cast & after having terribly conflicted feelings seeing him in Flower of Evil, I can’t express my joy at him getting to be the heartthrob he is!
This Denver is so much better than the original. He has complete loveline and dad-son relationship.
I just want to let you know that I watched the whole series because of this single edit and it was totally worth it

I actually like their love story more than in the spanish version. Idk why and of course we'll have to see where they're going with this in the coming seasons (if the show hopefully gets renewed) but there's just something about these two that grabs my attention more than in the original one.
I think the K-Version is way better. They left out a lot from the OG where I asked myself what it brought to the story in the first place. The suspense curve was really good looking at the single episodes but also on the story as one.
K-Denver and Misun are just the one instance where you feel the difference most since in the Spanish version both characters seem to get more and more lost through the episodes especially looking at their first vision and norms. I really got a ick watching Denver talking Monika into staying with him and then putting mostly on her because of the Stockholm syndrome. K-Denver never talked Misun into staying with him and more likely wanted to free her from him, which is totally logical since in both versions he is said to be "a good and loyal boy". Her deciding to stay without Denver insisting or talking her into it shows that she really IS Stockholm. This and the immense chemistry between these two is beyond catching.
I also really like what they did with Tokyo as a character, so as with the professor ( making him smarter than just improvising and following someone else's plan).
Berlin's backstory is also way deeper and ofc very heartbreaking knowing how many North Koreans tried/ are trying to flee and that these "camps" in all cruelty exist in real life.
this edit is actually so good. i was on a binge for this couple and i ended up watching this one multiple times. the sequencing of scenes, the buildup, the visual effects over certain scenes, all the intense parts that kick in with the chorus, and that climax (heh)... incredible work!

The Korean version is definitely my favorite and these two were my fav couple 💞 both the spanish and kr are masterpieces but this is just special on its own they somehow made it more fun? Especially the second season and the thing they changed in the story yk what i mean 👀

I love Korean remakes because they are Super relatable it incorporate human real nature...But None can really beat the original ..without the original there is no Remake....
Denver pushed Monika into staying while Misun decided to stay on her own. Misun is the real Stockholm while Denver made Monika into Stockholm. K-Denver is also way more „pure“ and loyal which gives his character development so as his decision making a more clear and understandable background. OG-Denver is just a mess as a character not as in „he was written to be a mess“ which he clearly was but more as in „the writers had vision for the character and lost it multiple times during the show“.

I won’t lie, I generally like the original Spanish version better, but this Denver & Stockholm have better chemistry & are a better fit. Money Heist: Korea part 2 was also better than part 1 & had more Korean specific elements.
