I ran my wife's book Emotional Power (Dr. Karen Perkins) into it. didn't make any changes, and just gen'd the podcast. Simply incredible! 17+ minutes of a really great discussion on her book. I showed her. She's going to publish it! Yup. this is a real winner.
This tech is absolutely incredible. What will usually take your average podcast team one week to research, write and record this tech can accomplish in 15 minutes. A literal gamechanger.

This is cool! I'm from Denmark, and I just threw in the latest issue of the weekly newspaper "The Engineer" which is in Danish. NotebookLM just made an 8 minute podcast in English covering the two main stories. We already have a podcast covering the same themes, but still funny to hear local stories covered in English.
This was phenomenal. Please do more of these. I could actually understand what they were saying about a very technical subject. Please please do more of these.
I'm already using this in my graduate studies for compiling the information given into a podcast to better understand the information given. Plus it gives study notes and quick tests of the information. It's crazy.
I tried it and it definitely hallucinates big-time. It’s even more convincing because it has two very human like people talking about it. Pretty dangerous until they reduce the hallucinations especially if somebody’s trying to use it to learn from.
The AI podcast hosts are hallucinating like crazy on the quantum gravity paper. There is no such thing called "comar charge" ("colmar charge"?) mentioned in the actual paper. Worse yet, that concept seems to be totally unknown by Google. The paper also lacks any mention of "Einstein scalar theory".
I tried giving it a news article and Notebook LM’s podcast incorrectly claimed that the events in the article did not happen. They need to ease up on the alignment.
Has anyone figured out a way to stylize the podcast? For example, I want to make a podcast about the 36 Dramatic Situations, but I want my podcasters to envision their own SpongeBob episode synapses. I have tried adding examples as notes, but it seems to ignore them. I have tried adding examples as sources, but it becomes a garbled mess.
@@dot1298Honestly I believe AGi is either partially or completely achieved maybe not completely but somewhere there is progress made internally just not available to the masses because it stills needs improvement
The AI generated podcast was better than practically all mainstream media. Compare The starship portion and to get better you'd have to go to a podcast or RUclips person that specializes in space and especially SpaceX.
You never reply to comments but I’ll write this anyway. You seem to be doing only paid commercials now. You will lose fans unless you make clear this is not the case. But the I’m tired video made it seem like yeah these are just infomercials now instead of “doing what you feel like doing for fun”

This is scary good. And this is just the first iteration. Imagine different voices, more than 2 'people's speaking.
Pretty soon there will be a 24/7 podcast that you can tune to anytime that discusses your favorite topic. The possibilities are insane.
