Sad news: the green birbs that I have kept for nearly 2 months are confirmed to be abandoned by their owner. He's moved overseas and will no longer be back to Australia. Here's the question: how do I keep so many birds in my home as I already have Lemon, Ana and Quishna. Do you guys reckon I have to re-home the amazon parrots or try to keep them a little longer to see how it goes?
You should keep them and see how it goes for a while. If it’s too much for you then re home them. They are probably best if they stay with you though. You will take care of them. Someone else may not.
If you have more than one room (which you seem to have), keep the tiels in one and the amazon parrots in another for now. Wait it out for a month or so. The tiels might still be upset and hormonal right now, let them calm down.
Awful owner not a good person keep them in their cage but don't let them fly out as they r not trained like d Tiels just food and water spinach apple not the seeds they r beautiful 🐦🐦😅😵😵😵😵😵💟💟💟💚💚💚💚💚🍎🍎🍎✝️
They're beautiful Keep them inside in a new cage for them they don't have to mix with the Tiels separate cage is fine it's easy to do 🐦🐦Poor little things Soo nice colour and cute💙💙💙🇦🇺🇦🇺😅😅🐤🐤💓❣️😛😵😃💟💟💙💙💙
Rotten to just dump his bird. Can you commit to giving him a good life? They live longer than the tiels. If not maybe try to find a good home. I see your tiels are still hormonal...it will ease off should be soon
Yeah Quishna is so fierce. Hopefully he will calm down soon. I have to discuss with the landlord to see if I can keep so many birds though. Otherwise I have to rehome the birds or relocate my family 😂
I also suggest sent your mail bird is being so nippy that show him that you are the alpha Bird by reinstating the step up command. Put your finger against his chest tell him to step up and make him do it. I think he will be less nippy if he understands or remembers that you are the alphabird of the flock The green bird seems happier than the first vid he sure needs better than an owner who just dumps him
I see a lot of people saying keep them, and in a perfect world that would be awesome. But idk if some people realize how much work Amazon’s are. They’re soooooooo much work. Especially when you already have 3 pets. I really hope something works out for you all. But please don’t feel pressured to keep the birds if you don’t think you’re up for it. You can always keep them until I find a really good home for them if you don’t want to take them to a shelter./sanctuary.
We have more than 50 zebra finches, 4 cockatiels and 2 love birds that happily live and play cage free in our balcony which we've converted into an aviary. Your home is definitely bigger than our apartment so there's definitely a place for these green bois in there. So, what I want to say is....KEEP THEM PLEASE 🥺
Wow, you have so many birdies at home which is amazing. I’ll try to persuade the landlord to let me keep the green amazon parrots as we had a deal that I’ll only keep 3 cockatiels before moving in this house
I do hope you can keep them, you’re a wonderful owner and they deserve lots of love. If it’s safe to keep both the bigger birbs and your trio of adorable tiels, I’m sure they’d love to stay. It’s not very responsible of their owner to just leave them like that, they deserve a stable life. Much love to you and all your birbs! Good luck~
I would keep them (as they are used to you). Do you always get bitten by your tiels? I would recommend that you don't poke your fingers at your birds especially their heads. In this instance, the biting can be avoided. Best of luck!
They’ve already had to go through being rehomed I think it would be sad for them to be rehomed again. It’s very emotionally upsetting for them and it happens all too often in the bird world
If I can't keep him Find a great forever home But if I can, I would keep him Poor little feathered Man It's a his foult. And he is very Gorgeous. Best of luck

I would love if you keep baby green birb, is only a baby I don't want it to keep moving around will be so sad. Already lost both parents is sad. The tiels are fighting very much tho, hopefully they start to calm down soon
It takes time I guess for the tiels to calm down. I love the green birbs but they need much love and attention as much as my tiels. I'm still wondering if I have that much time to give them a good life as you know the green birbs live much longer than tiels.
If you can give them quality of life, please keep them. It's so sad people get these beautiful, smart birdies to later abandon them. It's just not fair!!!👎👎👎
well i say it really depends you need to understand your life style, the brids can change that. Id say have a week to decided walk through how your routuine would be if you kepted them forver and how you would deal with it.
I think you should keep them, they've been abandoned once before, I don't think they deserve this scorn. they didn't do anything wrong to get abandoned over and over again. Birds are innocent animals and are very fond of the owner, they go into depression away from them.
Por favor quedate con esas linduras de plumis asi sea de a pocos y lentamente esas ternuritas de bbs emplumados se acoplen todos juntos sera una experiencia super agradable y satisfactoria para todos estare al pendiente de novedades Dios te bendiga
That depends entirely on you. You would have to learn a whole new bird species. Parrots are not the same a cockatiels. Their care is different. Most are not native to Australia as the cockatiel is. Most species of Parrots are native to South American rainforest and the climate they need is more humid. Be sure you are comfortable with the changes.
try to keep them a lil longer they are getting used to you much more now they seem to be getting happier also with you and sometimes when seasons change sweetybirds do get a lil cranky at times and they might bite each other some of those birdies like the green n blue ones look just like my cooper, such a sweetheart bird too and might be a shock to them again to be sent to a new home unless you really really trust the ones who they might go too i hope they are ok it would be good to keep them a lil longer to see how it goes they are good birdies.
@@AussieTiels cooper does pretty good with sunshine but he is a loner msotly kinda wants attention in his own way but lieks when i give him some bell pepper and peanuts but boy when he sees sparrows outside the birdy alarm goes off him n sunshine keeps their distance but always good towards each other but one time they almsot got into a fight i separated their cages so not to try to hurt each to her but since then they got along pretty good but he is sure lovable too loves telling on a neighbors cat that sometimes comes by
They're such sweet lovely birds. If you can separate them from the tiels and you have the means to care for them and you want them, then you should keep them. If not, especially if you don't have the time or means then it's best to find them a good forever home. The deserve that.
Why did you dial +1 .. Are you not in USA yourself? I’m a telephony admin, hence curious. Really cute video. Does it hurt when they bite your fingers? 😊
Tough call. My girlfriend has a rescue 'tiel that was previously captured breed-stock, or raised by breed-stock parent(s) with limited human contact. To be clear, she didn't do the initial rescue. She's the one who said she's give the poor birb a home.
I agree. I had a cockatiel that was originally with another woman. I rescued him. But it took years before he would bond with me. I had him for 14 years. I loved him so much. He passed two months ago. I miss him. Don't keep moving them . They need a stable, loving home.
We have an Amazon. He is the light of our life. I hope you can find a way to integrate him. He is a victim of such callousness by his former owners. These birds cannot understand why they are abandoned. They are highly intelligent and sensitive.
Please for the birds sake keep them. So many parrots end up in shelters and end up plucking from all the stress. They seem to have bonded with you nicely, so please don't make the poor things any more stressed than they are. I think they would fit perfectly in your home.
I have a tiel and BF amazon too! BF amazons are great! they are very funny and learn to mimic many noises and words. Amazons have very long life expectancies so if you decide to keep them make sure you are ready for that. Amazons are very different to tiels so maybe do some research and see if they fit your lifestyle.
Please Try and keep them they already been threw so much they need you and I see how you are with you cockatiels and I know you' 💕 them rescueing animals is the best
You must keep them, as they have adjusted to you now. If you keep on moving them from one family to another they will have mental issues. They need all the love and understanding they can get. All the best 🤗👍🙏
Keep him I know its dangerous for quishna lemon and Ana but try taking Ana quishna lemon out and then when u put quishna lemon and Ana back in take the green bird out we really want another member
I think u should keep it if the owners won’t have time for them then they should not have the bird you spend time with ur birds and they r happy and they have good plumage it doesn’t seem they are stressing u do good and I want green boi happy too!
De mi parte yo me quedaria con ellos los cuidaría y les daria la mejor vida que sr merecen aparte todo el amor a la final la recompensa que recibiremos son sus trinos mimitos cariñitos y travesuras
