this s*** brings me so far back to when my life was phenomenal, spent a lot of time with quality friends and the experience was unforgettable really miss Club Simons, fantasy ranch, boatyard village, paint factory, Firestone, club Luvia excetera if anybody remembers those days, holler if you hear me
Paul Santana is still tearing it up in Tampa. Look for his RUclips channel and pay the hard working DJ a thank you for the greatest genre Ybor City has had the privilege to host. To all my peeps that were there with me during this legendary time, we're still alive and if you partied like I did well that's saying a lot. Long live Breakbeats
As a BRAND NEW DJ.... I'm loving this and heading to TAMPA! Please don't forget about me PAUL! LOL I LOVE YA I NEED YA I GOT TO HAVE YA! IM DIFFERENT IM PASSIONATE... WATCH OUT BABY HERE I COME ...IM 58 and FEELIN GREAT!
I've been doing my part on here for almost 12 years now. I had to stop uploading for the fear of having my channel disabled because of the amount of strikes I was getting. Too many and they delete your account and starting over wasn't an option for me. Not with 300 plus videos. Im leaving well enough alone for now so people can enjoy this genre. To the folks that missed out on the scene, my heart bleeds for you. What an experience for the ones that lived this underground music like myself. May breakbeats always live on and this music give you eargasms.~ P.L.U.R DJ Genesis, thanks for the great mixes you're putting out. I have to say Volume 2 is my favorite so far. Peace brother
@@abrown212 i whole heartedly agree. that's exactly the reason i stopped uploading also. Breaks are such a part of me, I never intended to make money from these videos. Just wanted to share what was near and dear to my heart! I will leave what is left on my channel, and RUclips has already deleted some of my mixes. ...Sad.
Club 1509, Amphitheatre, The Rubb, The Masquerade, The Castle ~ Ybor City 90's // DJ Santana was one of the early DJ's that we're getting down early on and thru until today.
santana was big part of old school breaks. kept our feet moving.those were special times. firestone outer limits edge in downtown Orlando cyberzone.fun fun fun.
this is when the club scene was still fun. I had this CD at pretty much every party I showed up at. Listening now makes me want to roll. such good days.....
yea- we got there earlier inthe night and while standing out front talking to a bouncer this lady comes running up screaming i gotta get in there. i need to find my son quick the cops are trying to pick him up. they got a warrant!! we did not think anything about it - thought it was just a single case incident. NOPE, few hours later everyone peaked and the lights come.. . full swat.
How many of you remember closing your eyes, dancing like nobody was watching, and hoping they didn't turn the lights on to close the club? such good memories.
dj Santana is one of the best dj from the Tampa bay area one of the best songs on this CD is motorcycle as the rush comes remix and soniquic mix feel so good good memories .
This is still relevant and that's because we are the future always and do it without even trying it's effortless full of love ❤️ and so not a fucking machine to my freesylist dancers everywhere!!!! Machines no machine could have ever felt what we did!!! Love u all ❤️🦋🤘💯
That wouldn't make allot of sense, now would it? I piece together every rythm tract from individual wav files. But I wasnt referring to the beats of the song. They sound nothing alike. And extracting beats from a song would be extremely difficult, if not impossible.
SuperSlave Considering that Santana did this mix in 99-2000 it would be rather hard for Turn Me Out to have been a rip off of your track don't you think? In fact, the majority of the tracks in this mix were produced before 2000. Turn me out was an anthem in Florida in the mid 90's. LONG before your track.
Absolutely. When I heard the track, It read "published in 2012" under the title. And I wasn't referring only to the words "turn me out". The phrases the woman sings are actually two separate samples, either from two different recording sessions or from two different women entirely. So I assumed a coincidence was improbable. But, if you're right about the release date, guess it has to be.
+SuperSlave Santana didn't actually produce any of the tracks in this mix. He just mixed them in this continuous mix. I'm not sure who the original producer was for that particular track, but yeah I bought this mix when it came out. The same year my daughter was born both she and the cd are now 15 years old.

Listen to "Bust Me Out" by SuperSlave. I made the song in 2006. Does Track 4 of this compilation sound familiar? Freakin Pathetic!
SuperSlave are you admitting you ripped of his beats.. < pathetic
