Not sure if you have already done these steps, but I just wanted to post them anyways. The chain should be greased with synthetic high temp grease, all the moving parts should be lubricated properly also with the synth. grease or synth oil. After riding it for twenty or so miles, the chain should be looked at to see if it needs to be tightened and all the other screws, bolts and nuts should also be checked to see if they need to be tightened. If one or two are more loose than the rest, a little med. strength locktite should be applied to them. I like to run the air in my tires about 10 psi. more than what it recommends, unless I am going to ride in a desert or harsh environment where thorns and stickers are prevalent. That is one awesome set-up you have and I am very envious. I have an Ecosmart and the reason I purchased it, is so I can upgrade the motor the batteries, the emc and other parts of it. I researched pretty good to find this one and the main selling point was, it has an awesome frame and carriage and the motor is mounted in a way that another completely different sized motor can be easily mounted in the same spot without much fabrication. I love it the way it is and will keep it that way until parts start going out on it. When that happens, I will start building my own scooter with all the power and longevity I desire. Help to install brake light. Hi, I have an uber scoot 1000W. the Led tail light Has 4 wires (blue-red) (green-yellow) I connected the blue /red wires to red/black (Brake light connector) Do I connect the green/yellow wires to Controller connector extension labeled “ indicator”?

Purchasing two 1500watt brushless gearless hub motors 48v & installing generator on both wheels to charge spare battery while other battery powers it. Should be good for 60+km's.. Did think about installing very small gas engine coupled to two generators to charge batteries, then thought about direct to motors as it would still be classified as Electric powered thus not falling into the illegal bracket... English Laws are very BACKWARD IN COMING FORWARD..

Can you help. My power board the front wheel does not spin on its own freely if lifted off the ground. I will actually have to turn the wheel around with my hand and then when I stop the wheel will stop turning. I am wondering if it supposed to be like this on electric power boards or if the wheel is at some point rubbing on the brake caliper somehow making it not turn freely. I am wondering if this is affecting my speed. Can you help?
Austin B I have had the front wheel off fully and played around with the tightness but it didn't fix it. It is definitely the brake disk rubbing on the calipers which is annoying as u couldn't fix it

It is said that one charge can hold up to 30 km. But you can upgrade this scooter by changing motor sprocket 11 teeth to 15 teeth sprocket. It will go faster and further.
the only matinence in electric is the batteries copared to many gas scooters have problems with anything in motor if your not a machanic get electric trust me

those lead-acid batteries will start to run down in no time at all ... I recently upgraded to the lithium battery package with a heavier controller and charger ... now I really am enjoying my scooter and getting so much more range and it's not slowing down when you get on the yellow light!

What I want to know is how you can obtain 1000 watts out of such a small motor and batteries. Seems exaggerated to me.they are 12 amp hour batteries. which means 28 amps for 1000 watts. Means about 15 minutes use.
I figure the scooter uses 3 12V 12Ah batteries. Doing simple math 36V x 12Ah = 432W which should be matched with a 500W motor to maximize power efficiency. But doubling the motor just adds unnecessary weight resulting in a low torque and sluggish speeds. Also short run time because the extra 500W just burns the power into heat but no power.

I got a 24v with 500w motor which is 2 batteries 12v 12ah ... if I put one more battery that is going a happen, can I do that?
Actually that means you're going to have a motor that lasts a lot longer because you're not maxing it out you have plenty of headroom
