Thank you for the nice compliment. I love Gars drumming, I wish he had the opportunity to play on more recordings from Megadeth... He added so many unique elements to the songs.... Glad you enjoyed...

You are very talented, how do you learn to play like this?
Is there any software you can use to learn tracks like this or do you learn from notes?
I am trying to learn to play this track on guitar via Rocksmith 2014 and it is very hard.

thanks for the nice words... when i was growing up learning how to play drums, youtube didn't exist so pretty much any and every song i've ever learned has been completely done by ear... i'm not sure how long this particular song might have taken, but my process has been pretty much the same since i started..
before i ever sit down to try and practice a song, i listen to it alot... normally i have the song and all of the drum parts completely memorized before i ever even sit down to attempt and play it...
occasionally i'll reference some drum notation every now and then if i'm having difficulty, but in my 30+ years of playing, i've only consulted youtube a handful of times to try and see how a drum part might be played...

@@JJDrumsChannel Thank you for the answer 😃
I am always impressed by how people learn by just listening, I never managed to do that but I play pretty well with Rocksmith for now.

@@NickFje no problem... it's amazing, i meet alot of musicians and everyone seems to have a different way of learning material... i guess the important thing is to find something that works best for you...
      good luck with your playing!!
