I also have bubble paws from them. The person I got my fursuit from is a friend of LSD (I don’t support her at ALL) It has claws and they are hot glued on. Like I can see and feel the hot glue without digging my finger in there. Also, for the finger padding they used pink. (The fur is white) and the pink easily shows through the fur. I have found holes. The paw pads are sewn in a different way than yours and are stuffed.
Three hundred dollars for the LSD paws, its not great at all. I bought a beautiful, nice and soft (unlined) pair with claws from a small maker that was FAR better than what these look like for FORTY DOLLARS. although I do love the colors, Leaving things off of a product, having awkwardly cut pawpads, and leaving out stuffing, is not acceptable whatsoever for a "professional" maker. I would've attempted to get a partial refund or had them fixed as I am not a Fursuit maker and hardly know the first thing about sewing. From all of the reviews online (not on her etsy), I would've more than likely received a block from a simple question though, sadly. The five finger paws are absolutely beautiful and I could see someone paying well over 200$ for them.
hand sewing CAN be just as secure - if you're employing the right stitch. When sewing fur with a machine the machine can easily catch, so with small detail things like that hand sewing is pretty acceptable to me. Though I would expect a much cleaner, tighter stitch. At least a back stitch.
Yep backstitches are crazy strong. My industrial sewing machine isn't great at sewing the intricacies of paw fingers, so backstitching has saved my life a tonnnn

I'm not a LSD supporter but removable pillows in paws is an older practice makers use to make the stuffing easy to clean. Hands get sweaty and thick padding is hard to dry in any piece of a fursuit. It helps prevent mold and the like as well.
With LSD’s fursuit paws, and putting pillows in the paw pads, and letting them being able to be taken out- I do that with my paws and it’s much easier to do when making paws, and able to be taken out for washing.
The LSD paws look like paws I bought from Spirit Halloween, for 10$...with slightly more fur.... And I personally think the Spirit ones are higher quality if I'm being completely honest

Yeah, Liquid Sunshine is complete shit... Without going into TOO much personal detail. I had met them once, we became friends, they offered to fix my resin cast custom sergal head for me as it needed a little airbrushing it was getting quite worn, and the feathering behind the ears needed some attention. So I paid them to do it, annnnd they avoided the hell out of me, only to tell me months later they dropped my head and broke it. I got it back in the mail and, yeah, completely shattered. I still to this day havent remade the head D:

You can find my etsy where I have a tail for sale but that's the last thing I made before I had to move out of my house. If you want I can update when I'm in a position to make paws and tail stuffs again. ^^

It makes me so so sad that people are still supporting her on etsy. As a seller also on etsy it's kinda upsetting that her good reviews just trump the genuine bad buisness that was done with her.
Thos lsd paws price cost enough for me to buy enough materials to make a high quality partial suit with a face that can be ripped off revealing a skull, and that says a lot.

Watching this now as a semi professional fursuit maker ( i only make paws ) knowing dang well i make ( this is from a customer i made paws for ) medium to high quality paws for less then what you got from liquidsunshine studios like basically 50$ to 100$ for medium to high quality paws
The paws themselves are perfectly average, but LSD’s bad rep mostly comes from both their business practices and their....less than pleasant personality.
iirc a friend of mine got thier first partial from them and the fur was cheap and completely garbage. the suit just gradually fell apart and it wasnt even that old, likwid apparently was "apologetic" and offered to refurbish their suit for free and after that refub it was still garbo. they got a fullsuit from sparklekreations and it looks so, so so much better.
as a fursuit maker myself, this really hurts me lol we sell our paws by themselves for around 60-70 bucks at most. and it isnt that much work at all either. For something that isn't that good of a quality and worth so much money... is astonishing and heartbreaking. it really does show someones true colors when they dont put hardly any passion into their work. I guess some people only see dollar bills.
