Nothing to add, everything was so sweet and perfect, great performance, perfect playing of instruments, real jazz fusion. I would pay to see and hear this live.
This is one of my favorite albums ever. Every single performer absolutely shreds, which is nice, but they all do it while remaining entirely in the pocket, which is mind-boggling.
Next time you want some Japanese fusion, one option is *Sadistic Mika Band* (I think you'll find the video if you search for that on RUclips). It's also along these lines. Groovy, man!
Not for me. Don't know when or if I will ever be in the mood to listen to this kind of genre. But I appreciate you do this, too, JP. Who knows? Maybe there will be something I can enjoy. We always need to try. Besides some radio stations, your channel (Chanel? 😊) is the only one I follow daily. It's a pretext to know new music.. Errr... Even if most of the times I click when I already know something about or the artist. 😅
They can play, but i'm just not in the mood for something this 'busy'. Usual story, basic rhythm, bunch of hyper noodling, and we all go home... At least tomorrow, IIRR, it's Beethoven, oh happy day. But, at the risk of repeating myself: for a top debut, check out Scritti Politti's 'Songs To Remember'. Top album :)

that’s some nice japanese jazz fusion right there! the whole album is a gem!
The more japanese jazz fusion I hear, the more I can hear and understand where 80's and 90's video game music comes from
Agreed!

I like jazz fusion but too many notes not enough space. Wouldn't buy it.
