I'm blessed to be a married stay at home mom with 4 children and sisters, the brothers who provide and protect aren't suckers and you should want a man to be wise. My husband vetted me well. He cared about my health and fitness because I would be having his children and teaching them good health practices. He cared about my religious beliefs and values, he asked about my finances and budgeting practices,we got std test, he met my parents, he cared about the level of knowledge I had about myself and how the world works, there were many test that i didn't even know were test. He jokes about it often, but most of his test were dates. He took me swimming to see how i looked without makeup and natural hair. He took me to a Japanese restaurant, skating, out to play basketball, to jazz clubs, and many more places just to see how openminded and adventurous i was about trying new things. He took me to the park just to jog to how fit i was, because he's very athletic and wanted a wife to work out with him and stay physically attractive. I had to meet his friends , be around the children in his family for outings to see how well i interacted with children and much more. He even did the "unlock the other side of the car door test, after opening my cardoor", if you've seen the movie A Bronx Tale, you know exactly what I'm talking about.I totally passed because I remembered that movie : ) And my vetting was thorough as well. We laugh about it a lot but people serious about marriage and joining everything- families, finances, bodies, etc, will have and should have standards for making their lives successful. My husband's standards for himself alone keep me and his children protected and provided for.And he is a man of honor. If one of us gets sick, we can depend on each other and our insurance. If death occurs unexpectedly, we have 4 policies, gold and silver instruments, emergency savings, property to collect residual income, education funds for our children's college or trade school. That's how married responsible people opperate. The next generation should become more prosperous than the previous. That's what the black community is missing. We need to own where we live, create economic freedom, practice better healthy habits,and create a higher moral standard to raise children. All of this starts with successful marriages.

My aunty, who finished very basic school for cooks, who lives a very basic life in the very hidden village of Poland always gives the best advice ever. I visited her after the divorce I did not apply for. Was quite devastated and lost. She gave me peace and healing by involving me into her duties. Real work around the farm etc. That was step first. Next year she calling "when are you coming again". I came. That next year she said "well as long as you feel the energy and look good you should start going out. I've worked in geriatric field for 15 years and this might hurt many of y'all to the core. We all die alone! Get over the fear of death we all have to. Even the couples that died with their loved ones by their side died alone. No matter who's next to you, you die alone. Most of us who are going to get to that point are already on so many comfort meds that you don't even know what going on. This is a fact. My grandma was surrounded by love and yet she took the journey alone. What these women are afraid of is surviving alone the journey through life ALONE is far more difficult than death itself.

The point I think he means when he says die alone, is that you will die without having lived with someone to love. Not having someone share your life with. A family who you created with that someone you shared your life with. Yes, most of will die alone. But those who died with people by their side, lived a fulfilled life. Atleast to some degree. My great grandfather died two hours after he was surrounded by his son, his grandson, his great grandson, and his great great granddaughter in the room with him. He heard his great great grandaughter in the room playing. He couldn't see her. But he heard her and looked in her direction when she said hi great great grandpa! That's what dying with a fulfilled life looks like. As one example. I am the great grandson.

I'm a married man who watches because I find it amusing how he makes the criteria so crystal clear and people simply refuse to accept the truth. I also listen to his advice for men on how to improve myself because I figure what makes a man valuable to single women also applies to a wife. Ladies, if you want a husband then *pay* *attention* ! He is giving you the exact step by step guide that you should be following. If you want a "dream guy", be a "dream woman". If you can't meet a criteria, make up for it elsewhere. Look, I remember back when I decided that I wanted a wife and would date with that purpose in mind. I had criteria in mind for what I did and didn't want. If a woman didn't line up, I wouldn't waste my time on taking her on a date. If we started dating and I realized that she didn't line up (and didn't make up for it in some other way), we stopped dating. It was as simple as that. I tell you one thing. You ladies really seemed to hate that and do some crazy things to try to change it. It doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want. If you're not what he sees when he imagines his wife, he will not marry you. I'm not saying that to be mean. I'm saying that as someone who has enjoyed the offers and even services of women who wanted to have more. Every guy I know has done the exact same thing. Yeah, I'm married now. From the moment I met her, she checked off everything on my list. I told her my intentions and the dealbreakers early on, she agreed that she wanted that as well, and we moved forward from there. I'll be honest with you about a real ugly truth. Her getting pregnant with our child didn't guarantee that I would marry her. I told that I would support the child "no matter what". That "no matter what" included us breaking up and her hating me. While I'm not the highest value man out there (nobody's perfect), I am constantly improving myself to get closer to that ideal. I got a wife, 2 kids, a house, and a dog. I'm shopping for the white picket fence to complete the "classic American dream". Speaking of dreams, I have to keep insisting that she adds more to her "dream list" because I keep checking them off. Dream degree and dream job? I helped her get them. Swim with dolphins? Not only that but she had them doing tricks. We've been to plenty of resorts, theme parks, shows, on and on and on.

My grandpa died in 1963. My grandma never remarried. She lived alone for around 20 years till she had to move to a nursing home. There are many women who live in assisted living facilities alone. Being married doesn’t guarantee you won’t live alone when you are older.

The one lady that called in really tried to prove that the men she's dealt with in high positions are mentally dysfunctional thus high-value man are dysfunctional but only proved that she attracts unhealthy men to her. There was women in the chat attempting to give other women terrible advice, most of which was very generic. Don't have kids and it's okay to not be married while young were the two that stood out the most. Those are the exact two things you should be doing. It even debunks that "you're going to die alone" theory. This is the ideal based on the world we live in and it's very plausible if you build the relationship right and dont get divorced. Mid 30 to early 40 year old man with resources marries a woman that is 19 to 22 years old. They have 2 to 4 children together and he provides his wife and kids with a middle class life. Kids grow to eventually have several children of their own. They live the rest of their life together and man eventually dies first, as statistics say men tend to die younger and the because of the age gap. Woman is left with money from life insurance and retirement savings. So when she gets old, she has money, kids and grandchildren to depend on. Spread that across multiple generations and there is extended family and generational wealth for the elderly of the family to fall back on when bad health starts to inevitably happen. This is the kind of long term thinking black people need to start thinking about. Not the dysfunction that is common place now. My mother and aunt are going to die alone. I would have much preferred they had the above situation as opposed to the one they are in now. "Strong and independent" is an oxymoron that ultimately gets no one anywhere.
That sounds like a bad deal for the woman. She’ll still be a relatively young woman nursing an old man, only to spend decades without a partner. It’s smarter to be with someone your own age and build a nice life together.

The reason I know this is true is simply because I’ve done this with a woman. 6yrs relationship, Took her from what seem like a prison living condition to getting a house, renovating the property from scratch and now it looks like a Victorian home.. having 2 beautiful children, financially I’m there, after a hard days work I still find the energy to cook for her and the kids. I do 99% of the shopping in that house in regards to food.. I did it all but I realised it’s a one way street.. and it took my mother coming over to visit for just a week to open up my eyes. And that old lady told me, my son this woman is not for you. She’s disrespectful and you need to get out of this now. I told her she will change, she’s a nice person but as time goes by I realise it got worst. I could have saved myself 2yrs of doing and getting nothing in return just by listening to the old lady. I'm blessed to be a married stay at home mom with 4 children and sisters, the brothers who provide and protect aren't suckers and you should want a man to be wise. My husband vetted me well. He cared about my health and fitness because I would be having his children and teaching them good health practices. He cared about my religious beliefs and values, he asked about my finances and budgeting practices,we got std test, he met my parents, he cared about the level of knowledge I had about myself and how the world works, there were many test that i didn't even know were test. He jokes about it often, but most of his test were dates. He took me swimming to see how i looked without makeup and natural hair. He took me to a Japanese restaurant, skating, out to play basketball, to jazz clubs, and many more places just to see how openminded and adventurous i was about trying new things. He took me to the park just to jog to how fit i was, because he's very athletic and wanted a wife to work out with him and stay physically attractive. I had to meet his friends , be around the children in his family for outings to see how well i interacted with children and much more. He even did the "unlock the other side of the car door test, after opening my cardoor", if you've seen the movie A Bronx Tale, you know exactly what I'm talking about.I totally passed because I remembered that movie : ) And my vetting was thorough as well. We laugh about it a lot but people serious about marriage and joining everything- families, finances, bodies, etc, will have and should have standards for making their lives successful. My husband's standards for himself alone keep me and his children protected and provided for.And he is a man of honor. If one of us gets sick, we can depend on each other and our insurance. If death occurs unexpectedly, we have 4 policies, gold and silver instruments, emergency savings, property to collect residual income, education funds for our children's college or trade school. That's how married responsible people opperate. The next generation should become more prosperous than the previous. That's what the black community is missing. We need to own where we live, create economic freedom, practice better healthy habits,and create a higher moral standard to raise children. All of this starts with successful marriages.

My aunty, who finished very basic school for cooks, who lives a very basic life in the very hidden village of Poland always gives the best advice ever. I visited her after the divorce I did not apply for. Was quite devastated and lost. She gave me peace and healing by involving me into her duties. Real work around the farm etc. That was step first. Next year she calling "when are you coming again". I came. That next year she said "well as long as you feel the energy and look good you should start going out. The older you get the more careless you become and women tend to let it go. Your ex husband is in the relationship already it is time for you too. You don't want to die alone do you?".

The point I think he means when he says die alone, is that you will die without having lived with someone to love. Not having someone share your life with. A family who you created with that someone you shared your life with.

My great grandfather died two hours after he was surrounded by his son, his grandson, his great grandson, and his great great granddaughter in the room with him.

Look, I remember back when I decided that I wanted a wife and would date with that purpose in mind. I had criteria in mind for what I did and didn't want. If a woman didn't line up, I wouldn't waste my time on taking her on a date. If we started dating and I realized that she didn't line up (and didn't make up for it in some other way), we stopped dating. It was as simple as that.
I tell you one thing. You ladies really seemed to hate that and do some crazy things to try to change it. It doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want. I'm shopping for the white picket fence to complete the "classic American dream". Speaking of dreams, I have to keep insisting that she adds more to her "dream list" because I keep checking them off. Dream degree and dream job? I helped her get them. Swim with dolphins? Not only that but she had them doing tricks. We've been to plenty of resorts, theme parks, shows, on and on and on.

My grandpa died in 1963. My grandma never remarried. She lived alone for around 20 years till she had to move to a nursing home. There are many women who live in assisted living facilities alone. Being married doesn’t guarantee you won’t live alone when you are older.

The one lady that called in really tried to prove that the men she's dealt with in high positions are mentally dysfunctional thus high-value man are dysfunctional but only proved that she attracts unhealthy men to her. High paying career doesn't equate high-value man. That's one of many requisites... Don't have kids and it's okay to not be married while young were the two that stood out the most. Those are the exact two things you should be doing. It even debunks that "you're going to die alone" theory.
This is the ideal based on the world we live in and it's very plausible if you build the relationship right and dont get divorced. Mid 30 to early 40 year old man with resources marries a woman that is 19 to 22 years old. They have 2 to 4 children together and he provides his wife and kids with a middle class life. Kids grow to eventually have several children of their own. They live the rest of their life together and man eventually dies first, as statistics say men tend to die younger and the because of the age gap. Woman is left with money from life insurance and retirement savings. So when she gets old, she has money, kids and grandchildren to depend on. Spread that across multiple generations and there is extended family and generational wealth for the elderly of the family to fall back on when bad health starts to inevitably happen.
This is the kind of long term thinking black people need to start thinking about. Not the dysfunction that is common place now.

This is actual facts. I love your work.. The reason I know this is true is simply because I’ve done this with a woman. 6yrs relationship, Took her from what seem like a prison living condition to getting a house, renovating the property from scratch and now it looks like a Victorian home.. having 2 beautiful children, financially I’m there, after a hard days work I still find the energy to cook for her and the kids. I do 99% of the shopping in that house in regards to food.. I did it all but I realised it’s a one way street.. and it took my mother coming over to visit for just a week to open up my eyes. And that old lady told me, my son this woman is not for you. She’s disrespectful and you need to get out of this now. I told her she will change, she’s a nice person but as time goes by I realise it got worst. I could have saved myself 2yrs of doing and getting nothing in return just by listening to the old lady. Women are not the same.. they don’t appreciate a good man who’s willing to make them as comfortable as possible, improve their lives and talk family with them. Brothers stay firm, this experience has changed me.. made me wiser... never again will I be so naive in thinking that you can take a woman from the pit, improve her life significantly and she will love you for that.
