"GET PIT FOR MAPPING"
THE SOLUTION IS VERY SIMPLE 99% OF TIMES.
YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE USB CABLE.
IN Z3X OCTOPUS AND CHIMERA TOOLS YOU GET:
"ERROR READING PIT"
THE SAME USB CABLE ISSUE!

Not working for me:/ I tried with a lot of cables but still no success. Is it possible that the problem is with the charging port? I tried patching with odin version, on another computer, with an older version, with administrator rights, all usb ports on pc, but none of them worked. My phone is S10+ (Exynos) The drivers updated.

if you get exactly the same error "get pit for mapping" could be charging port! otherwise if another error it could be the version of odin.
@@charlieonwheels3969 Get pit for mapping every single time. I tried with modified odin, which was passed, but its really fast, about 1-2s and nothing changed, so the modded version also not working. The charging port is soldered to the motherboard, so I can't replace easily, so I give up rooting. The last test is to clean the charging port. If it doesn't work now, it never will.

@@charlieonwheels3969 So, a small update, Odin now detects it, only it installs only the boot leader entry, the others all fail. "notes 9"

it doesnt work for me on my Tab note 10.1.... it says pit error when try to run TWRP 2.8.6
This appear to be another issue but try to use another odin try a stock firmware

Try to find the latest stock available... and look for latest odin too

Try to clean the port, try another fast charger another cable... leave it charging for a while.... after that press volume down plus home plus power key for 5 seconds and see...

@xzireaeel If the error is wxactly the same. there's a chance that your charging port is the problem try to clean it or replace it. Wich phone model you have?

@xzireaeel on J700F the port is soldered to logic board, Before trying to replace it did you try to flash it on other USB PORT ON PC? Maybe another PC
