    This kenpo style of fighting seems very gay (ineffective). Might kenpo be a form of bullshido perhaps?

    I find it fascinating how realistic scenes are reenacted at this acting school. Absolutely good training, even the facial features and the screams of pain are presented here in detail and convincingly. Here will be generation of stunt men and women be trained that is second to none. Terrific 👍👍👍💪🏻

    Sure that's Cliff Seminerio of, once upon a time, Casa de Kenpo, with the bleached hair. Tatum was a senior instructor for those guys in Pasadena, and also taught him a few advanced forms like 5 and I believe 6. Liked his Kenpo flow heaps.

    On 2:55 a beautiful young lady karate black belt demonstrating women’s self defence against a male attacker, Sensei lady would have the element of surprise using her devastatingly lethal skills and techniques to subdue a male attacker foolish enough to dare attack a seemingly defensive less woman, love your shuto’s to his neck and various strikes to his vulnerable areas, also great to see another young lady practicing her self defence, all women should take up karate ! don’t you agree ?oss

    Utter Crap! I mean please give us something other than someone throwing a punch like they're not even trying to hit you and leave it out there.. how is that ever going to happen in a real fight?! Even the smallest untrained person is actually going to try to hit you even if it's wildly and chaotically, especially if they're drunk and or angry.. this has no practicality whatsoever..

    Is that even practical in a real fight? Someone can easily counter each move and take you down. Also slapping isn't the best defense, especially if the person is more skilled than you. Next time have someone come at you with real time aggression and not some making of a martial arts movie

    • @VesuviusAntaria
      @VesuviusAntaria 2 года назад +3

      You are absolutely right. This won't work at all. That they don't see that themselves.

    • @RaysOfPivot
      @RaysOfPivot 2 года назад +1

      Yes and no. These techniques are meant to teach principles nit be used In a real fight. You'd really only ever use the first move or two, then adjust to what the attacker does. You can never choreograph a real fight. But these techniques teach "if this attacker is in this certain position, here are my options" they're meant to be be changed and adjusted. Not to mention you'll only ever use a few moves before you should be running

    • @RaysOfPivot
      @RaysOfPivot 2 года назад +1

      @@VesuviusAntaria anyone with a brain knows you'd never use the whole technique. But the initial first moves and defenses are very sound. Like five swords he mentions here is just blocking a haymaker/wide hook and then striking. The rest is extra

      It's about it. If you don't master a good defense technique, you put yourself in danger with these kinds of exercises. An opponent is often always stronger and bigger. Because the opponent wants to be sure that he could beat. His biggest mistake may be if the opponent underestimates you and doesn't know you have mastered defense techniques.
