- Hi everyone! Danny and Niamh here - back with a brand new reaction to a MUCH anticipated series (by one of us in particular) Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Niamh is a HUGE book fan and Danny knows pretty much nothing about this amazing story. We had so much fun. This is our first series on the channel which is so exciting. Please feel free to share your thoughts on this wonderful adaption with us!

Lol, the "I know everything about PJO" and "I know nothing about PJO" dynamic is so funny. I loved both the reaction and the discussion afterwards. You did a good job guiding the discussion without spoiling anything.
I'm also a book fan and the show has been such a joy to watch. Nostalgia off the charts 😌😌

OMG u get it, thank you 😂. It’s so hard to balance how much to say and how much to let him figure out on his own lol but the first night of filming was definitely the hardest to hold back, I’m getting better at it hahaha. Thank you for watching ❤️❤️❤️

There are so many little easter eggs from the books in this show you can tell how much they actually cared this time. It wasn't perfect, but I am so grateful I got to experience this as a fan.

I heard that they initially shot the show with a more book faithful version of gabe, but it came off too intense, thus the watered down version in the show came to be. I personally don’t mind it, but I don’t think he’s bad enough to get petrified at the end of the season.
That’s interesting. I have to say I enjoyed this depiction of Gabe but you do make a good point there! Curious to see how it all goes down, I gotta have faith in Rick haha
One thing I did appreciate in that scene that Gabe actually doesn't seem to be angry at Percy for getting expelled. When he hears it was for supposedly having a fight with another student, he just sort of nods in approval, because that's the kind of jerk HE is. It's something that he can understand, even if he doesn't give a damn for the kid.

I love this franchise I read all 10 books related to Percy Jackson so I am happy to see it get the love and respect it deserves as a series. Second it is so nice to see the combo of someone who have no clue what they are going into and a book fan reacting to this very unique to watch, but very enjoyable looking forward to the next one :D

I watched the movies first before I read the books. Once I read them, I was team book. They have done a fantastic job adapting it for a series, and I really want to see not just all Percy Jackson and the Olympians, but maybe The Heroes of Olympus series as well. This is what they should’ve been doing with The Chronicles of Narnia now.

I really like this show. For some reason though, you will find that it sometimes cuts to black for no reason, or otherwise avoids using its effects when it really could. A couple times I felt a bit disappointed cuz it just skipped something cool rather than show the full thing. Still, it's a very fun show.
Lovely channel you got new sub can’t wait to go on this journey with you guys. This series is what got me into reading as a child so really has special place in my heart.
