I thought the perk was off to a really bad start but you were smart to identify that no info is still some info!

Haha yeah, I was kinda walking towards that gen anyway, but yes! When you don't see auras, that gives you valuable info too!

10:49 made me laugh so much.
    "Oh, she had unbreakable."
"...okay. Um... didn't really matter too much"
Great games ^_^ I've been pretty disappointed in darkness revealed on Sadako, the usefulness just seems so map-dependent and it's only REALLY helping me on maps I don't struggle with to begin with. Still, I love info perks, and I hope they add more passive tracking perks like this down the line!

Haha yeah that caught me off guard 🤣
Thanks! Yeah I agree, I really like the concept of Darkness Revealed and I'm also hoping for more perks like it!

"Actually, I just heard vomiting" sounded so funny to me, but I have just realised how good your game sense is :D Predicting that David is around the corner to try to flash save or hearing Adam and knowing that he is above you, ready to pallet save. Dude, I'm impressed :3
Also, you never vomit on gens or windows or whatever, only on survivors. Is there a reason for it? I don't know how Plague works, so I don't know if it's even worth it^^
Edit: Second game was rough, but a really good fight :3

Haha 😂 Aww thank you! I also turn my headphones way up, that's why I can hear everyone's breathing to find them around corners lol.
Mm it depends on the situation, but it's definitely sometimes worth it to vomit on gens and windows! If you are chasing a Survivor, it's usually better to try to infect them directly instead of infecting a window or pallet because the sickness meter doesn't increase very much for vaulting infected objects. A time I might vomit on a window/pallet is if a Survivor is if it's a tight loop, where it's hard to puke on them directly. For gens, it's fine to do it when convenient when walking around in the beginning (or very incentivized if you have Corrupt Intervention or certain add-ons that extend object infection duration), but I wouldn't go out of your way to infect every gen since there's quite a few gen options for them at the beginning and it only stays infected for 40 seconds by default. Later in the game, it can be really good to vomit on gens when defending them (like a three-gen) or when you kick gens (granted, only if they are cleansing). Gens can get infected by infected Survivors too, so a lot of times that I chase Survivors off gens, they're already infected. But yeah, infecting objects is definitely a powerful tool!
Haha thanks, it was a rough one, but they did a good job!

Aha! Thanks for the insight :3
Whenever I play against Plague and she vomits on me, I just go cleansing myself immediately, and when I come across an infected gen, I ignore it, so I'm not very familiar with her mechanics :D

@@moenchone No problem! Yeah the most important thing as a Survivor is to try to avoid getting infected, so makes sense to avoid infected gens! I would be careful with overcleansing as a Survivor (giving a good Plague infinite amount of Corrupt Purge is scary), but it definitely depends on how your team and the Plague herself are playing.

Yes, I've played with people who say to never cleanse against her, just like some people say to never heal against Legion, but it all depends on how killer and survivor approach each other, I guess, but I'd rather cleanse than not, because I don't like being puked on :D

@@moenchone Haha that's fair! The "never cleanse" strat is a little outdated, everything always depends on the situation

Yeah I think it's a weird choice for Plague. Only real killers I could see making use of it is Dredge (obviously) Sadako and maybe Nurse or Blight but it is weird without Iron Maiden. And that's 2 perk slots taken up by something that other perks can do with just 1. Cool to know that Blood Favor works when people get infected though!

    • @charamalie

Plague does benefit a lot from info perks (when you have corrupt purge, they're pretty much dead if you know where they are; being able to get into chases fast and infect people means you get your power faster; infected Survivors vomit so they cannot be stealthy if you see their aura from far away), so I thought trying this out as a Lethal Pursuer/BBQ alternative would be fun, but wasn't as reliable as I wanted it to be. But I definitely get what you're saying with certain Killers utilizing it better than others.
I really like concept for Darkness Revealed to give you on-demand aura-reading abilities (like using it when you know Survivors are Oblivious to you), but yeah, it doesn't seem good enough on the average Killer to be that impactful.
Yes, I love Blood Favor with Plague!

@@MaxBakerTV Haha you're good, I definitely see why it seems like an odd choice. But when I first saw the perk, I immediately wanted to try it on Plague since I love info perks on her.

Interesting choice! I feel like it's not a bad choice on someone like Huntress/Trickster that will be reloading quickly at lockers, usually with Iron Maiden as well, but I was very interested to see how it worked on someone like Plague! I've really been enjoying playing her & it's fun to watch you play her too! What are your go-to aura perks that you enjoy using on her?

    • @charamalie
      @charamalie  2 года назад +1

Yeah, that's kinda why I wanted to try it out! See how other Killers might benefit from it. My favorite info perks on her are Infectious Fright, Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage, and Lethal Pursuer!
