This is the song that made say "oh shit, I really do need to pay attention to Bad Omens." This whole album is phenomenal. Also, I can't be the only one who really wants to know who inspired these lyrics, right? Morbid curiosity I guess. Lastly, I watched an interview in which Noah discussed being influenced by the Weeknd when writing this album. You can definitely hear it in this one.
Exactly, first time i heard this song my first thought was "who hurt my mans?" You can hear it over their first album too, something pretty bad had to have happened for him to be that hurt.
@@daltonevans3412My guess is that it's likely about the same relationship that inspired Worst in Me, which he said was intense and unhealthy.
When I first heard them I instantly thought of the weekend 🤣
I'm a fan of the heavier stuff, and with that being said, I'm absolutely in love with this track.
This is the album of the year across all genres for me. Absolutely fucking incredible
The layering in the outro of his screams to the high always gives me chills

Was interested to see how you guys would react to Noah exploring a bit with the vocals and the overall shift in the bands sound. Sounds to me like they're pushing the boundaries enough to stay fresh and appeal to new audiences while still sprinkling in the vintage Bad Omens sounds. I saw them live opening for Underoath. Never heard of this band before. They opened the show with this song and set the building on fire. I’m a fan for life now.

I've been a fan of bad omens since they dropped their ep and I know it sounds different but Noah's voice drives the band like it does this song and it shows us their range which I truly loved

This band is incredible! I love Bad Omens and I feel as if they are always compared to other bands rather than being "Bad Omens" but I feel like Noah and the band will be able to solidify a sound for themselves with this upcoming release!

This kinda shit is exactly what the alternate/emo/rock music industry needs. I am so sick and tired of bands trying to do the same thing over and over again instead of doing something new, bands can't keep doing the early 2000s emo thing forever. And i'm so happy a lot of bands are starting to develope new and interesting music. I think another good example of this, is Falling In Reverses new song "popular monster." That song is like the perfect blend of rap, mixed with the classic falling in reverse songs we all know and love. Same with this song by Bad Omens, it's new, it's refreshing, and it's a fuckin banger. Music needs to evolve in order to get better and I am happy certain bands that I know and love are starting to realize that.

But enough about Noah, how good is the production quality. Every member is just doing what they have to do, nothing extreme, it’s those tiny little intricacies that make this album so good
I love that you guys reacted to this. I just recently found the song myself. Bad omens wasn’t a band I thought I would be into but after hearing much of this album I’m going through they’re older stuff and loving it. This song hits all the right things for me. So sexy but also goes hard!

I found them from their song Exit Wounds (still my favorite I think), adored their first album and have adored every album since. It’s nice to have music from them that fits different moods. I love Bad Omens’ entire discography more with each release. I wanna see them live so badly…

This song took me a few listens to really grow on me but damn it is a powerful awesome song!! Bad Omens is going to be at the top of the metalcore genre for years to come!
As fans of heavy music right now we are so, so spoilt for choice. Can't keep up with how much awesome shit there is :)
This is a band that is on par with Sleep Token in this way: I'm always intrigued by what genre bending thing they will do next.
I heard Sleep Token from 'The Offering', but was even more intrigued when I heard 'The Night Does Not Belong to God' or 'Levitate', and then after I heard 'Alkaline', I was even more intrigued by 'Fall For Me'.
Similar with Bad Omens. I heard 'Worst in Me', thought BMTH ripoff, but then I listened to Glass Houses, Exit Wounds, and Malice and heard their own sound starting to form. Then with the next album, Kingdom of Cards, Mercy, and Limits stood out as being songs that took their time being written, almost with an intention to show off Noah's vocals, similar to Vessel's in Sleep Token. Different entirely, but similar in structural approach.
I'll always look forward to Bad Omens releases because of how unique Noah's voice is and how they craft songs around that.
I started my Bad Omens journey with Glass Houses and was immediately hooked! That song is a metalcore/BMTH fans dream! Im hoping for great things with this new Bad Omens album!

This band confuses me but I love them. It's like different singers on each album. There are vocals on the second album that sound like Smash Into Pieces. (Example: Kingdom of Cards)

I loved this aswell 🖤🔥 It was sick to hear Noah show his vocal range in this and the breakdown was legit. Would have been nice to hear some heavier vocals dropped in behind in the outro but other than that it was a banger 🔥 Hope they release an acoustic cover of this.

I feel like they were influenced from several artists/bands for sure. I hear more of a similarity to Landon’s vocals from The Plot in You. For sure The Weeknd vibes in the intro too.

I wasn't a huge fan of their first album, really enjoyed their last album so this sounds like it's staying in that direction. They just mix heavy with techy/r&b so well. I'm thinking this album is going to be a great way to start 2022

I have a question. Ive watch a lot of reaction videos and I've noticed they are often only about the music and not the lyrics. Is there a reason?
The term “reaction” is for an initial response to experiencing the entire package of a song and music video for the first time. Touching on lyrics is common, but for a real in depth look at lyrics, it takes time and multiple listens. This would often make the videos quite long and there are definitely channels out there that do that if you’re looking for it!
