@@keilanbrown137 Alec is not stronger than Jace, Jace did not want to hurt Alec so he was holding back and was not using his full strength, he let Alec beat him in that fight, but that was the only time Alec actually beat Jace. If Jace had used his full strength in that fight then Jace would've won like always.

is anyone else confused about how clary and Jace weren't related in the other dimension but only in the regular dimension

In the other dimension they were still related. They just didn't know about it yet in the other dimension. Do you remember when Maganus was shown in the other dimension he was reading Clary's fortune? He said to Clary "Tonight will define your relationship." "You hope he is your soulmate." "But secrets reveal would threaten to tear you apart." I think he was talking about the part about them being related. The only part I am confused about is if Valentine knew and was keeping it quite or if he along with Jocelyn thought he died?
ky anderson they aren't related here or there. The main difference is that because there were no longer shadow hunters, Jace's mum didn't die before he was born and Valentine didn't take him from her womb so he grew up a Herondale and she grew up a Morganstern. Therefore the thought of them possibly being related doesn't exist. What I would like to know is what happened to Johnathan? Was he even born or did they just not show him because they didn't reach that far into the storyline?
Uta 2017 Valentine faked Johnathan's death and sent him to Edom. He knew Jace wasn't his son but he saw Jace as his son because he raised him as his own. He just lied to trick Jace into being with him

Alec forgave Jace too easily. He treated him like shit since the moment he saved Clary.
They are parabatai you have to understand what that word means what that bond means to understand their relationship. It would take a lot worse for Alec to be albe to stay mad at Jace and vice versa especially when he can literally since the sincerity of his apology through the bond
