  • Just my very humble homage to one of the most beautiful and epic friendships of television history, and the unique soul-deep bond they share...
Just as I'm deeply grateful to the show for having portrayed an exclusive, healthy romance between a gay man and a bisexual one, without ever making Magnus' bisexuality an issue for Alec (Note: I see absolutely nothing wrong with polyamorous relationships. However, given the misconception that all bisexuals and pansexuals are into multiple romantic partners, the monogamous bisexuality representation was much appreciated!); it was also extremely refreshing to have a gay man be so emotionally and physically close to an heterosexual one without Jace himself ever showing any discomfort with Alec's sexuality.
Even when he discovered that Alec thought he might have some feelings for / be attracted to him, Jace never stopped trusting in Alec's ability to continue to respect his boundaries.
This type of representation is also extremely valuable and incredibly important to have.

Disclaimers & Fair Use of the material:
This video is a work of pure love for Netflix & Freeform's “Shadowhunters (The Mortal Instruments)” TV series, its characters, pretty much everything and everyone that were involved in the creation and making of the series (including its source material, written by Cassandra Clare), and also its fandom.
It is meant to be transformative, and to be a further exploration/study and celebration of some of the series characters’ dynamics and relationships.
Absolutely no personal or commercial profit was or is made from this video (nor was it ever intended). Unless believed otherwise by copyright holders (in which case, it will be my pleasure to comply with their demands, as I sincerely am not looking to put them at any disadvantage, nor harm their work or how they can profit from it in any way), fan videos are usually a good and strong source of publicity for the source material; as they highly contribute to maintaining the original work’s visibility across the years, and especially, to keeping the excitement and enthusiasm for the source material very much alive and thriving.
