Thanks Efren! I'm getting ready to replace carpet in another room at my house and I'm going to use Air-O. It's really nice NOT having tack strip, and the carpet itself is SUPER plush.
The Mohawk reps do NOT recommend using the tape on steps. It’s expensive and unnecessary. It’s also better to start at the bottom and work your way up. You also should use a carpet stapler instead of an underlayment stapler. Otherwise, good job. 😉
About ready to do this on my stairs. Thanks for the video.
Air.O carpet is awesome. 9 months later of constant use and it looks terrific!
@@wwhomeshow Thank you for the update!!

great job!!! where did you order it from?
Thank you! We ordered it from a local supplier in Portland owned by Paulson's Floorcoverings. But I'm sure it's sold at any Mohawk dealer.

We definitely learned a lot on that job. I knew some carpet people would be laughing at us! 😂
It does look great and I'm glad we did it.
Can I ask what they recommend instead of using the tape?
@@wwhomeshowif you use a crain stair tool where the tread and riser meet you can put a nice crease there. It looks sharp when all is said and done
