Hi John. Great set of videos mate. Really informative and enjoyable to watch. I've been saving for a welder for a while. Think I'll be on the phone to R tech later this week. Cheers Rich
Brill videos of the welding, what would be good for us beginners would be a video of 3mm plus steel showing penitration results, explain what a cold and too hot weld means and how to see it so you can adjust settings to suit, i can get good penitration on 1 and 2mm steel as per your vids, but on 3mm it does not burn thru, just metal kinda peals slightly like scale poping off, this would help us beginners, room for thought, but keep it up
pretty sure they work for ally and stainless, the shorter feed route suits those akward wires better, plus you can feed more amps. my first view of mig welding was these, as an add on to the arc welder, its only later i saw stand alone mig welders, when i bought mine, that long wire feed was always the issue with it. shoudlve stuck to what worked!
It's because of you john I bought an R Tech tig welder now time to save up for a mig now. Great vid 👍👍
Cracking weld Deb!

Nice videos, John. Have you found these Rtech machines reliable? Any problems with them?
Mine have been no problem at all I just use a better torch on the tig set Mine are not in constant use but are used on a regular basis
I went and got myself a mig from them. Impressed so far by the power. The warranty is very nice of course.
