A final look at the R-Tech ACDC TIG161. Checking out the AC settings. Frequency does have an effect on penetration and bead profile on aluminium. I like the way this machine welds on AC

Thoroughly enjoyed that. I’ve been using the same unit fir a little over a year as I learn to weld. It’s not been without failure but the machine has done everything I’ve asked of it. I will soon be tackling some Landrover bodywork repair so that might prove educational for me 😃. I will check out your earlier video. All the best Mat

Glad you enjoyed it, slowly catching up with your Land Rover Renovations. Good luck if you try to weld Birmabright! think its pretty weldable, but has magnesium content so maybe something like 5356 filler wire - but I'm no expert on aluminium.

Hi. With ck torch did you get. I need a lighter torch. However I'm worried about the connections for the gas connection and foot pedal?

Does control socket works also in MMA mode? Is it possible to hook up welding remote control for stick welding as well?

Juts tried it, seems like only the panel control works in MMA mode, pedal socket is disabled

@@framavia2201 Thanks for info! For my bad luck remote control for MMA is exactly what I need addition to AC/DC HF Tig! Can you weld in AC mode with stick?
