I have a smaller spare room that I want to make a movie room with two chairs. I feel like this would l perfect as I lwill just be using netflix. Ps i dont want the hassle of mounting a tv lol
yeah these amazon Chinese brand projectors often say 4K in the description but they mostly mean they will render a 4K signal input and descale to the projectors native resolution (1080p in this case) It will never display a 4k image/input but will ply 4k content In 1080 (FHD)
Unfortunately, I have a follow-up video coming. Turns out there are some serious issues with this thing that warrant returning it. Hopefully I can find something better.
The 4k version is $400… they also have a 1080p version for $65.00. Did they send you the wrong one maybe? The 4k one has a $150 off coupon and then an additional 15% off promo. Should be like $215ish. But if it’s not really 4k, that’s wild.
It was a half special deal, absolutely advertised as 4k. I don't believe they sent the wrong one, although I suppose it's possible, but it's clearly not 4k according to the manual. I suspect they don't actually have a 4k model. It's a nice projector, but not 4k and as you'll see in part 2 it has more serious issues.
@@DirtyPlumbus ah. I see. That’s crazy. I would 100% get at least a partial refund. They are selling the 1080P version for $65.00. I’d ask for the difference back if I was gonna keep it.
@@DirtyPlumbusHello It will output 4K by using the HDMI wire connected to a 4K source, like my MAX Kodi TV box. Otherwise, the native resolution is 1080P. Have a great day.

Not that I noticed but I didn't use it for very long. The connection issues were bad enough for me to return it. I've since picked up the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser and while it is a bit more expensive, it's been fantastic. Setup was a bit time consuming but after that, it's great, and easy to connect to.
Yeah, it's like an iPhone, you're stuck with what they let you use. That's why I immediately returned it. I've been much happier with the Nebula Capsule but it is a bit more expensive.

Nice for you
Probably they mean that it's support 4K formats
But output only 1080p
Yeah, they all do this. You have to look for native resolution. Shady but they ALL do that. :(
Why projector is turning on itself when is switch off? So annoying if you hear it at night when turns on itself
These are on sale for $200 can anybody vouch whether or not that's worth it?
That looks pretty good 👍

Where can I get a universal wall mount that will allow view on to the ceiling?
@JoshuaPorcher-yz3sd I'd imagine you could get one on Amazon, if you really need one.
