I disagree. Compression? Maybe. Auto tune? Absolutely not. He IS an amazing vocalist who doesn't need much or any assistance for his performances. Sounding how he does live is something that should be applauded.

Are they technically perfect perfect? No. Are they carrying the song like they're supposed to? I would argue yes, they are. Could they use some more body in the mix? For sure, but that's highly unlikely to be anything to do with Jesse, let alone his fault. Not to mention this is a phone recording of a live show. Not exactly acoustic excellence. Although I'm willing to bet that that isn't an issue for someone with ears of your calibre.
