Probably jokers favour
All of them! keep it up Walter
It was a very fun Batmay with you and thank you for making them!
Beware the Grey Ghost.
Channel Awesome all those one-off villains should have been used more often
I think he should do this again next year, doing the next 31 episodes.
Yes, please!
It would be great. It’s fun to relive these episodes
Yes! Do it every year until we get to Bat-May Beyond!
I mean the DCAU is a thing, and if you need a batman connection there are Justice League and Superman episodes that are Batman focused. this can be a yearly thing for a while.
Honestly why not get the whole of channel awesome in on it, reviewing all the Batman movies as well
This entire episode is just Batman trolling the interrogator. He makes the guy put in all that work, pulls the rug out from under him, and then sends him the damn cape as a prison gift anyway. I don't think I've ever seen him flex that hard on anyone.
Probably why we never saw him again. Joker heard about all this attention and got jealous
@@BlackGoldSaya That might actually have happened. In "The Man Who Killed Batman" Joker attempts to murder the guy he thinks killed Batman. I think it's safe to say he doesn't like anyone getting between him and Batman.
Joker: oh so you think you can have Batman mess with you do you? Well you’re greatly mistaken
This villain was riddler before riddlers episode
The producers and writers had a surprisingly difficult time figuring out Riddler. I think it was Paul Dini who said that he accounted for the most scripts that had to be scrapped of all the villains.
@@KairuHakubi And Bud Cort does not sound like John Glover
Fun Fact: Bud Cort, the voice of Wormwood, voiced my 6th favourite Superman villain in the DCAU, Toyman.
From one Samuel to another, who are the other 5?
He really should've had more screentime throughout the dcau
@@unclefranklin4575 Agreed.
When Batman turned into a pirate after they took his cowl
Batman once had a pirate themed villain by the name of Captain Stingaree.
Kinda reminds me of Zoro
Raganui very fumny
@@Raganui in some of the batman stuff his parent took him to see zorro in the cinema on the night they died
@@Raganui i thought he looks like the man in black from "the princess bride"
If not Riddler, Wormwood definitely could've been their take on "Cluemaster".
Eh, "The Interrogator" just has more catchier name than that, imho.
Funny enough. In the latin américa Dub, Wormwood is called "the Riddler".
@@EMTeves O_o well then... the more you know.
@@striberx ... And knowing is half the battle.

GI JOOOOOOOOOOOOE!!!!!!
I hope it becomes a yearly thing I can't wait to hear you talk about the Robin's Reckoning episodes since unfortunately they're episodes 32 and 33
Great job Walter. PLEASE do this again next year.
It would be great to see this treatment given to the other series' in the DCAU.
Bat May
Super June
August Beyond
Static-tober
November League
Might have to rework some of those names tho. Bat May works as it it 1 letter removed from the actual name
Flash February
Maybe Static-Shocktober?
Long live Bat-May
I loved this episode, the surprise came out from nowhere and I always thought the twist was brilliant. It makes you realize you can't always predict Batman.
"I am going... to wear them."
Damn, that line still gives me chills.
In a way the concept of this episode was also adapted into Daredevil season 3
Why is marvel copying DC?
@@wilkinscoffee8979 They've always done that to each other.
This episode feels like a James Bond movie with batman in it.
This was an awesome month. Even if you don't do this for another year, it was worth learning about each episode of this amazing show.
It's weird that it took so long for the Signal to be introduced, especially with how long Batman was around. I wonder if the creators wanted this villain to be a replacement for Riddler to have someone more intimidating and not have the usual deductive absurd answers that the 60s Riddler was known for. Though I still love this shows's Riddler.
I'm glad you got the opportunity to do this and you have gained a sub. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, BTAS was one of the most endearing things about my childhood and I still love it to this day.
Thank you.
I loved this series so much I hope you continue it
JESUS I had no idea John Rhys-Davies was a part of this show! This series just keeps getting better the more you learn about it. "Few can see wither their road will lead them, till they comes to its end." Thanks for the amazing Bat-May, farewell for now and hopefully see you next year🤞🏻 Would be awesome🖤
Well done. Definitely made my days this month.
Yes yes, the DC Animated Juniverse will come to pass
Thank you for Bat May. It was fun watching your daily series as I had also begun my weekly series on the show too.
Thanks a bunch for this Bat May, Walter! It's been great following along and hearing your thoughts and insight into this fantastic series! Let's do it again next year!
Please continue this next year. I would love your commentary on every episode
this was so much going back over one of my favourite television shows as a kid. i so looked forward to watching it (and then darkwing duck) before starting my homework and going back through something that meant so much to me was so cool.. so much fun. it was so cool just to see this again. you covered one my two favourite episodes (almost got im notwithstanding) in ep. 8 "the forgotten" and the only sad thing about this is that, at least this time, you didnt get to touch on my other favourite - baby-doll. maybe next time. thank you very much for doing this.
You are by far the best aspect of the channel thank u so much for bat may it was truly something special
This was a great series, I hope that you get to do more. What will be for next month!
This was fun, thx for the show man
This was awesome and fun hope you do it again next year!
sad to see bat may end. this was a real amazing analysis of my favorite childhood animated show that gave me a new perspective of soe episodes i missedf growing up thank you so much for this and best wishes to you. much much love to you and the content creators.
Great job man, it was a blast to follow!
It was a great series man! The nostalgia! Thanks to your series I've started to rewatch the entire cartoon for the first time since I was a kid and it's even better than I remembered. Thanks for this! Good job!
Great job Walter! Enjoyed the month thoroughly. Very well executed and presented!
I really need MORE of this!
This was an amazing series. Thank you so much Walter. I am so glad someone put as much love in reviewing as the creators of the series did in bringing in my opinion the best animated series of my youth.
I have to say this was an awesome thing you did. I have not thought about batman the animated series in years. I sat down and watched most of it over the coarse of a week was pretty good thanks.
I really enjoyed this series. Please do some more. They were great.
Walter, even though I don't always see what you see as you describe the content of Batman the animated series (though I do love the show quite a bit, you skimped on some of my favorite episodes which is why I think I feel so jaded about it, lol) but it has been an honest to God pleasure to listen to you speak on it with such passion. It definitely reignited my love of the show and I am truly thankful for that. Regardless of whether you continue Bat-May somewhere down the line, I just thought you should know: This is content that I appreciate from this channel. This is content I appreciate from you. If it be Batman or any other thing (even if its something I don't quite know about) I would eagerly come back and watch it with all the enthusiasm that I can.
Hope you guys get to do more Bat May in the future! This was nice seeing some of the shows greatest, and, not so great episodes, other then that it was a blast watching these, can’t wait for what comes next!
This was great. Can’t wait for next May!
This was an awesome series of videos!!
Please do it again next year, I'd LOVE to see more.
Thanks Walter for an entertaining Bat-May. Bring it back next year! We’d love some more
Thank you for this amazing series, and a look back on something that deeply influenced my youth as well. Great work, this was one of my favorite things in Channel Awesome for months, if not more~!
Thank you so much for doing this. I've been following along and have even taken an opportunity to introduce my daughter to the series. She loves it!
This show is a monumental achievement that has thoroughly enriched the mythology. Also, I continue to be amazed how its presentation has stood the test of time.
thank you very much for your amazing work. i do think that it is worth continuing, so please do.
It was a fun month! I learned more about a series I grew up and love. I have friends who are DC comic fans that never watch a single episode, and I showed them Bat-May's Heart of Ice episode and Feat of Clay and one of them instantly bought the blu-ray. Of course I have it in my library and hold fond memories of it.
Thank you for all your hard work. This really made may awesome!!
This has been awesome! Didn’t miss a day!
I love this series. Short and to the point
It was truly a pleasure Walter. I enjoyed Bat May very much and hope to see it return again next year.
I honestly really enjoyed this series so I honestly do hope too see you next May!
Great idea and terrific series. Thank you, Walter.
Every year from now on dude!!!!! This was great.
Great job on Bat May! Very informative, especially being a fan of both this show and Batman himself. Can't wait for the next one, either next May or probably sooner, especially with the two-parter, Robin' Reckoning and Zatanna. Keep up the good work. ^_^
I think every year he should keep doing this until it’s over and then do the new adventures of Batman
And then Beyond.
@@justinpullen1097 it would be cool if he'd also do the batman and brave and the bold
He’ll do New Batman Adventures, he’s going off of how the show is presented on the blu-Ray collection they released in 2018 which included New Batman Adventures, two of the movies and the Batman Beyond episode Meltdown as a bonus feature
I honestly love to see it continue. There’s more than enough of the series to fill a couple of years worth of this. In addition, there’s also the direction this iteration took later on with Batman beyond, The Batman Superman movie, Batman’s one appearance in the superman series, justice league, and a few guest appearances on the static shock series. I’d honestly love to see reviews of all of that, but I understand if you might not be into those later parts of the iteration. Additionally there’s a lot of other Batman series out there including Batman the brave and the bold, the Batman, and beware the Batman to name a few. If you felt like reviewing those series as well then I honestly would love to see either single reviews for a whole series , Or seemed months like this one.
Please keep going this was super interesting.
Hey Walter I really liked this series, hope you get to do more here like this in the future
This was one of the most entertaining this thanks Walter
Most of the days this month these videos only positive thing I'd see online each day. One day out of May I didn't realize how much I needed this series. With all the constant bad news this reminded me to ask myself what would batman do? Thank you for getting me through another month of a long
I also want to thank the creators and whoever worked on this show, from the intro to the credits, it's awesome work and it gave me great times when I was younger.
idk why these vids didnt do as well there some ofthe best vids yall have there just great
I bought the Blu-Ray set some months back, and this has been a good opportunity to finally rewatch these episodes after all these years, and then watch the reviews for them. There might be the occasional cheesy/awkward early 90s moment here and there, but otherwise this show really does hold up! It's everything Doug and Walter have said it is, and it is great to relive these old childhood memories (and understand the plots better this time).
You did an amazing job!
You gotta continue with the bat-may this is official much respect
I really had lots of fun with this month. Batman TAS is my favorite cartoon show of all time.
I've really enjoyed this series. Well done!
These were a fun series of episodes. It gave me something to which to look forward every day.
Oh the irony of Batman and Commissioner Gordon talking about the Interrogator's use of death threats to get information, then Batman does it to the Baron (and has done it plenty in the past).
I started watching the entire show days before I found out about Bat-May, so this has been a great addition to my overall first experience with TAS. I'll be looking forward to more Batman videos :D
Keep it going next year man!
i really enjoyed watching and listening to these video’s 😊 maybe more in the future
I would LOVE to see this series continue.
What a ride. Thank you so much for these. Fan demand aside, I don't know how you had the willpower to even stop. (I know I couldn't!) Tell ya what: Keep em coming, and I've got a subscription in it for ya. Eh? Eh?
AwesomeWalter! Bat-May was AWESOME! I appreciate your love for the Batman Mythos and AWESOME attention to detail of the 90's TV Show! Truly, an incomparably AWESOME Batman Cartoon Adaptation! Have an AWESOME June!
I always enjoy it when this show has a decently known actor or actress in the cast.
The villains, for instance, Mark Hamill, Ron Perlman, Adrienne Barbeau, David Warner, etc.
But for one off villains, like Wormwood here, it's usually pretty cool.
I mean, they had Michael York (twice), Bud Cort, Treat Williams, Michael Gross.
It's just an absolute joy.
Please do this again next year!!!!
I hope you will continue reviews of the episodes of this great animated series in near future. I have seen episodes of the first three seasons so many times that I can't remember (forth only once and it was OK but much worse for me than previous ones), and still you manage to point my attention on some details.
Just keep going with the episodes!
I absolutely loved following along! my favorite show of the dark knight & the best one at that! I hope you can cover the rest of the episodes in the future!
Huh. Odd. I don't remember this episode. I thought I had seen them all. Nifty.
I wish this series would never end. Bat May turned out to be one of my favorite series and goes so far into all these incredible legendary BTAS episodes. Please do this again next year! :D
Thanks for the Bat-May! Well done!
Do some more episodes. This was great. Wish you guys would bring back awesome comic's and talk about comics again.
Awesome Comics has been back for months on our Twitch channel. Live every Saturday morning. Check it out.
You look really good with that 'stache, Walter. :) Really enjoyed Bat-May; would love it if you continue this next year!!
Man, what a ride was it!
Hope it comes back in 2021
This was fun thank you.
2:38 Walter. My sincere respect for calling it an Iron Fist bandana. One of my favorite superheroes.
Dude this was so cool
This is by far the series you've done Walter, can't wait for next May!
Good job, sir! Bat-May you have a solid rest of the year...
4:03/ As a fellow Xennial, I greatly appreciate the Blues Brothers poster to the right of the screen! Always have a special place in my heart for John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd! For those curious about that generational designation, a xennial is anyone born between about 1975 to 1985. In other words, an analog childhood followed by a digital adulthood. 🇵🇷🇺🇸😎
This was a great Bat-May. I hope you do another one next year. And don't forget to show some love for the "Red Sky" season.
Along with everyone else, I'm sad to see this ending. Man, what a good show. And I was just the right age when it was airing too.
I do love that last shot of the cape and cowl maintaining its shape for a moment before folding in on itself.
I was honestly waiting all month for you to do the movies. Sub-Zero, Mask of the Phantasm, any other one I'm forgetting.
I Loved these by the way.
Sad to see this come to an end. I sure hope that he does this again next year. This made me pull out my Batman Animated Series DVDs and re-appreciate a series that was really ahead of it's time.
I love this series! Don't let it end!
THANK YOU Walter.
THANK YOU for an amazing nostalgia filled month of awesomeness.
All Great things must come to and end.
