Prasat Preah Khan is an ancient temple in the Angkor Archaeological Park in Cambodia, built around the 12th century during the rule of King Jayavarman VII. It served as both a religious site and a city. The name means "Sacred Sword," linked to a symbolic weapon used in Khmer ceremonies. The temple complex boasts detailed stone structures with carvings of devatas (divine nymphs) and apsaras (celestial dancers). With its organized layout of courtyards, shrines, and corridors, Prasat Preah Khan reflects a mix of artistry and spirituality. Despite the passage of time and restoration efforts, the temple remains a compelling site, drawing visitors with its history and charm.
