+sharki9876 What is so bad about anime? Not every anime is targeted to a young audience. Many anime are made very serious, like "The Heroic Legends of Arslan", "Akame ga Kill", and "Steins;Gate". Not every anime viewer is a weeaboo, I watch it when I feel like it and I don't force others to watch it. Also, I'm not typing this as a hate comment but just wanted to say this because I always see people posting these comments but never actually watched a anime in their entire life.

different strokes for different folks, MM. Me, I bought into Coleridge's (1800s English poet) "willing suspension of disbelief" "poetic faith" concept decades ago. I think the Japanese have found a wonderfully cultural way to explore many great and meaningful themes playfully in Anime. Look at it this way, most people don't "get" Shakespeare either, and have never really tried to get into one of his plays. They'd choke on the idea of of 13 year old Juliet getting shopped to 30 year old Prince Paris. But that's the story.
