I really like your floating sinks and cabinets the most because it makes it luxurious and modern in that space, and makes it a bit easier to clean. I'd like to see a separate video tutorial on how you made it.
Honestly so awesome. I have caught a couple of your videos here and there as i have done a tiny bit of DIY over the last couple years, but the bathroom remodel was the first one i followeed along with while you were maiing the shorts. Looking forward to seeing the work on the new deck. Wish you two all the best.
Enjoy the transparency breakdowns post-builds, and the black fixtures look great against the wall color, I agree. New to the channel and had to go back and start from the beginning after watching a couple of your videos. I really enjoy your content.
Just to add in on the part about the towel over the tub, that is definitely a smart idea. A few years back, I was doing something similar in an extremely old bathroom remodel and a piece of tile flew into my knuckle and actually lacerated my tendon and I ended up having to have surgery to remove pieces of tile from my hand and repair my tendon. Hard lesson learned!
With the midcentury-esque color scheme of the bathroom I always love seeing copper finishes (lowkey slept on in my opinion), but i do feel like the black went well with the bathroom overall especially when you consider your vanity area. Im in love with you guys’ remodel! I cant wait to see what else you guys do.
Nice to see a DIY formed by RUclips. I run the same path since I moved to Canada. It would be nice share some build technical requirements while the renovations (for instance the vapor barrier, this is mandatory?), this would allow us to know more about these local codes (some are similar between USA and Canada, but it would give us hint about what to check locally). Also, I see you performed a lot of electrical changes. In theory those changers need to be done by a professional certified electrician. This would avoid issues with potential assurance claims. And, for the plumbing part, I'm too afraid to get something wrong doing by myself. Not to mention the amount of tools that I will have to purchase to get things done properly.
You guys absolutely freakin CRUSHED this bathroom!!! I mean it. It's DOPE!!! This would be a $30K bathroom all day everyday up my way. Just wanna say one more time... this came out DOPE!!! Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!!
Hey guys, awesome video as usual! Can you give a little more break-down on the "plumbing and electrical rough in" number? Is that all just materials, or did you hire anything out in there?
Thank you!! Yes, the number includes only materials as well as the ryobi pex tool. We did all the work ourselves for the entire bathroom besides the countertop install. Hope that helps!
($17,000 later) "So we decided on a shower curtain to save on costs." LOL Loved the video. I was having Golden Key withdrawals so it was nice to have a long one.
Beautiful bathroom. You guys did a great job. The only thing I would have probably changed is the color of the sink top. I think the gray clashes with the green tile backsplash.
I want to renovate my master bedroom but not sure I’m ready to spend 15 to 25k on it. I also don’t trust myself to not mess something up if I do it myself lol
At this point in our lives, probably not. We would have spent that money on another project. But we still would have done a custom stone countertop. Probably with less bells and whistles and done under mounted sinks.
@@GoldenKeyDesign Thank you for listing your items. I think I'm going to copy a few (unfortunately the countertop is over my budget). You did an amazing job.
OMG That’s too expensive In Saudi arabia we could do 3 repaired bathrooms with way luxurious materials & looking than yours. I can’t believe you don’t even have workers costs and it cost around 18K US😨 Your life is too expensive dear.

These people have fantastic tastes. The style is almost like Art Deco

Beautiful bathroom, lots of hard work paid off! Great job!
Thanks Debby - always appreciate your comments 😁
Awesome work guys! Everything goes well together
Thank you so much - we agree!!
Yay for long form!!!! ❤❤ Any kind of long form from you both is my favorite.
Yay! Thank you!

I love your style! Your videos are always entertaining and packed with information. I really look forward to your new videos.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy the videos 😁
Great work, and especially love the cost transparency! You two rock!
Bro its insane that they started this a year ago keep up the good work
It didn’t take a year 😅 It was about 4 months from demo to completion but it was about 2 months of dedicated work on the bathroom. Thank you!!

Love the black hardware! Great choice.
Thank you!! We’re so glad we made the switch

Did you build your cabinet or purchase it. If so, where?
We designed and built it ourselves! We have an entire RUclips video going over the build if you’re interested 😊

Loved the video. I was having Golden Key withdrawals so it was nice to have a long one.
Great work! Can you please share info about the light fixtures?
Good stuff! I assume the tile cost figure posted was the cost if the product had not been gifted. Could you clarify that with the build?
Thanks! Correct, all the figures were the actual cost of materials assuming nothing was gifted
Please can you provide a link to the wall sconces. What those for my bath
Happy Saturday awesome video hope you have a great weekend
Was the vanity custom built by you/your husband? Or did you outsource that to a cabinet company?
Yes, we built it ourselves and have a video going over the whole build if you’re interested 😁
@@GoldenKeyDesign cool, thank you!
You guys did very well, I think if it were me I'd rather have a bigger bath and a smaller sink section.
Thanks you!! And appreciate the feedback! We debated for awhile on the size of the sinks but so far they have worked out really well 😁

Thank you and appreciate the feedback!
What? You probably need to adjust the settings on your screen. It does not “clash.”

Awesome job
Where did you source the tile?
Where does Bianca get her fireplace? 😅
I want to renovate my master bedroom but not sure I’m ready to spend 15 to 25k on it. I also don’t trust myself to not mess something up if I do it myself lol
The marble countertop is very high end and luxurious. If it was not gifted to you, would you spend $5k of your own money?
At this point in our lives, probably not. We would have spent that money on another project. But we still would have done a custom stone countertop. Probably with less bells and whistles and done under mounted sinks.

@@calimom21 thank you so much!! Glad you found it helpful and good luck with your project 😁
sheesh, that marble countertop looks amazing but Idk if it's worth $5.5k
Will we see a Mr.D guest star in the deck build?? 😂😂
All that hard work and money and you’re gonna cover up the shower with a curtain? Hell nah! Glass all the way
When is the next renovation
We actually answer that toward the end of the video haha!
Oh I am not there yet
👍🏻✨
