  • Here I talk about all the buildings on the layout,, their history, and why they're important both to La Crosse and to my family history. I also show how I scratch built many of the buildings and some of the details that I put into them. The buildings include Grand Crossing, the Depot, Heileman's Brewery, Breidel''s Butcher Shop, Hood Ice Cream (Les Proksch's Gas station), Trane, and others!

Thank you so much for your acknowledgement of your Grandparents in your video. He worked in La Crosse at AD office at Depot. Also worked in Red Wing and Winona. TLB was Division Engineer Wisconsin until 1985 Soo Line takeover of Milwaukee Road.

Nice work all around! I lived in LaX during most of the 90's, and this brings back a ton of pleasant memories. Thank you.
