Just saying the amount of port begging coming from the xboys is STAGGERING. Lmao they were just all about exclusives now willing to get on their knees for the hit HD2. Straight up hypocrites.
I think it's weird that they said the console will be the place to get the best experience while every advertisement literally says "no console needed". They are contradicting themselves by saying how important hardware but then constantly telling people you don't need it. It's also a lie.
Sony brings games to PC, but you don't see anything about "no console needed" when they release trailer or any kind of advertising for PC releases. Helldivers released on PC day one but even then none of the marketing actively tells people to not buy a console.
Damn, HD2 has peaked at 380k concurrent players on steam, that's crazy.

Only reason they are coming up with all this garbage.....gamepasss....exclusives are evil....etc etc is that for whatever reason they just can't ship internal studios or first party games. THey were never crying out this junk during the 360 days when that wonderful console was thriving. Nope, just bad move after bad move starting with the kinect.

Even during those “good years” it was always a mirage, they have never built or created anything worth a dime. Their platform has always been trash without identity, all they ever did was buy the work of others to then turn it to shit. And it has ALWAYS been this way with Xbox. They duped and continue to dupe a lot of people. Thank god I have never given my money nor will I ever to any MS product.
That Xbox podcast spent most of its time answering 2 key questions their fans were asking this month - Why is MS going 3rd party, and What's the point of Xbox without exclusives.
Phil refused to say what games will remain exclusive because none of them will; Game Pass is now Xbox console exclusive instead. The only obstacle is the management of the community and timeframe, so that their fanbase doesn't fall apart.
I think there's a confusion over the podcast because the very first thing Phil said was that only 4 games are being ported, so some people left the show thinking that was the message. It really wasn't. They were trying to explain why going 3rd party is a good thing. There will be stage 2, 3, 4 and so on.
Some Xbox fans seem to see through it, others not. So they'll likely end up having yet another civil war down the line.

I mean if i think about the bigger picture Microsoft is the parent company of Xbox & Microsoft is winning by a long shot & Sony is losing which means if Sony (The parent company of Playstation) loses then Playstation loses & Xbox will still be standing in the end.. Playstation already have their own problems with wayy less money than the Microsoft team.. Playstation can win the fight in the eyes of the people who don't understand business strategies but Xbox will win the war & it's simple as that..

They just can't. Microsoft needs PS users base more than Xbox... Without PS COD would die in 1 year... But xbox will always kill that IP soon, gamers will fed up with full micro transactions on Xbox without any quality of games... when PS release strong MP ip's like we see with Helldivers.

Nope. They need to invest on the studios they own, which was more than Sony even before they bought activision, and put out bangers. Problem is management sucks at xbox. Prime example: Phil let Starfield and Redfall launch the way they did. Shuhei Yoshida played God of War 6 months before it came out and was horrified. That made Cory and the team work harder, which he admitted they did and look what happened GoW got GOTY. Phil don't give a shit about the quality of the games xbox put out. Hell, this man said great games don't sell consoles.
