Great show as always! It’s getting so tiresome hearing the “industry is down and not doing well” when it’s just Xbox that isn’t down well. The PS5 is just 800k shy of reaching the PS4 sales in the same amount of time, yet ppl forget that it launched during a pandemic, at a higher price point and it wasn’t readily available until late 2022/early 2023. That is very impressive, if you ask me. Yes, ppl have lost their jobs and studios have closed, but when hasn’t that happened and gaming as a whole has never been bigger with hit shows bringing more eyes onto the products and consoles. The faster MS gets out of the industry’s way, the better

Any app that forces you to use another site to pay for stuff is a red flag for most users. Plus parents often give their kids google and apple gift cards to use on the app store. It's funny how people only bring up when PlayStation & Square Enix do Timed Exclusive Deals like it's a problem, but no one has an issue when Nintendo & Square Enix do Timed Exclusive Deals, even Capcom does more Timed Exclusive Deals with Nintendo compared to PlayStation, but notice that neither Square Enix or Capcom wants to do Timed Exclusive Deals with Xbox anymore? I can understand Capcom, Exoprimal flopped on GamePass, and the underwhelming sales Dead-Rising 3 & 4 led to the closure of the Dead-Rising Team/Studio/Branch of Capcom, and the Timed Exclusivity of Rise of the Tomb Raider impacted overall sales, Outriders on GamePass flopped, Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core sold a measly 8%-12%, and player engagement numbers for Final Fantasy games on GamePass were so bad they removed them, and it's safe to say FF14 on Xbox didn't help Square Enix in the slightest.
