Monny went through a lot. The immediate sighting of that mess on the wall would have been the moment I pack and go home, there’s no motivational talk that could convince me otherwise!😭
This just reminded me of my first marketing job (3 months fixed term contract) after working in retail for monthssss. The commute wasn't easy it was a total of 1 hour 40 minutes (20 minutes walk from the station nearest to my office to the office grounds). It was one of those jobs you use as a steeping stone to grow in your preferred industry so I had to endure. The worst part was the fact they made it seem like the office was amazing but our office was made out of containers and the toilets were nasty. This happened winter last year so you can imagine the cold and having to work in such conditions. What our eyes see at times😅

Thank you soo much Rukky ❤️❤️❤️. In my opinion, the fastest way to get a lab job here is step one: Register for HCPC Step two: Join an agency that specialises in providing lab staff to hospitals. Register in multiple until one finds you a temporary role to start. Once you do one temporary position, you’re set because then you’re in the lab work system and work will even be finding you.
I also worked a retail job (at the cash till) and a YT man once told me to get someone else to attend to him cause I was making him uncomfortable. So I called my manager (she's YT) and he goes on to say "thank goodness she came cause he knows people my type don't understand english and aren't educated" btw I was doing my Masters in Management at the University of Bristol 😅 My manager was so embarrassed, she kept apologising. I have stories for daysss about my retail experience.
I hate that I can relate to Monny’s struggle 🤣. I live in Sheffield and I work in Doncaster 😭…164 residents … as I am like this… I am tired…can I quit… No… school fees, e Dey 🤣🤣. Omo, the stupid rubbish jobs we do abroad before stability comes ehn 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭…
Please i have a question, for families, i hear they choose care work because it helps with the non payment of IHS fees during sponsorship and that's why most go for care jobs out of necessity
Ohhh this actually makes sense. Healthcare professionals don’t pay IHS so if a family is going that route I can understand Tbvh. The fee is usually expensive 😭
