This is actually normal here in the Philippines, the only difference is that Marcelito's voice is beyond amazing. This type of singing is called "Doble Kara" where a singer performs a duet of a man and a woman by himself. This is usually done in singing contests in small villages all over the Philippines during fiestas.

As a singer, I’m not sure if I could do both parts. That’s quite a a difference in the range.
Marcelito Pomoy was homeless and is self taught. He goes from opera to pop voice, from male to female vocal registers. Absolutely amazing. He has a breath control and support that's awesome, he doesn't strain with none of the notes and there are low and high notes in both male and female registers he switches back and forth that are hard to hit pitch perfectly as he does. What a technique and talent.
He's flawlessly switching between his excellent falsetto and his powerful chest voice. He is amazing and your reaction had me laughing.

I'd actually be shocked if I found out they weren't rigged. Still, I would think he would kill it on one of those shows because of ALL of the reactions to his videos.

I had the great privilege to meet and watch him in concert in June in Toronto. It was like an out of body experience!!! He is humble as he is gracious. He deserves all the accolades. I can't wait to meet him again.
