My hometown is right on the coast just before you get to Galveston. I’m glad you got to see it on such a pretty day.I used to go out on my grandfathers fishing boat with my dad and just cruise around looking for a dolphins. I remember hearing that ghost story when I was very young. later, when my brother started driving he took me out to see it. I think we had to park way and look over a bit of water to see it 🤣…. that was before we had the boat
That is wild about the old man and his face outlet on the hospital Galveston has a lot of ghost stories like the hurricane that came through in 1900s and killed a lot of people ghost walk all over the place.
We were at Gaidos January 21-23. We were really surprised at how nice the room was for the price. We went to the Gaidos restaurant and Nicks. It was a cold n rainy weekend but Sunday and Monday were better. We boarded a cruise that Monday. I will try that Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant next time. Thanks for sharing your experience.
No problem ! Oh that's awesome ! It was also a little rainy when I was there also last August but it's a nice place to go for a weekend getaway I think :)
The water has been surprisingly not brown up there lately from what I see. North and of Course the water in South Padre is way more glowing blue and green about 80% of the time. Or at least the times I see it. My parents live on the water on North Padre and I live in a home I bought close to the Laguna Madre. There isn't as much exciting amusements down here. But South Padre looks like it has alot more than last I was there. My friend and her daughter from San Antonio often stay at my free B and B when they want to go swimming at the beach on Padre or in Port A. I'm a free tour guide if you and family ever come down to make a travel video. These are really great. Rockport is also a really cool town with a rich history. And very beautiful since the repairs made after hurricane Harvey lots of cool little shops in Rockport and Port A. Shrimporee and some of the other annual festivals are pretty big and alot of fun
@@luttitravels I dont know if I mentioned it but im in the North Padre Island area. Water here is much prettier than that muddy brown Galveston water... no offense Galveston, we get the chocolate milk from the Mississippi sometimes but not that often... April and May are likely the safest bets for the best weather before it gets too hot and humid. The sun becomes very warm but there are still these beautiful cool breezes during those months. And the water and sand conditions are usually very awesome as well. Anyway, I enjoyed your video. Thanks for showing off our town. It's come a long way in the past 30 years. Still not the most exciting place but there is a major construction boom on Padre Island right now. There are many great places to invest in Real Estate if you know where to look. My house on the far and very nice part of Flour Bluff has appreciated over 50k since I bought it 7 years ago. I don't want to live here forever, maybe another 6 or 7 years or until my retirement. I believe I'll sell my house for double what I paid at that time. Likely even more or I'll use it as a rental property and move up North to maybe San Antonio or Indonesia! Lol. Anyway, if you ever have ant questions, I'm always here. Again, good work.
Thank for the good tips for Galveston!
I love your positivity and simpleness!!!! Stay blessed and ty for sharing!!!!👍🏼🙏🏼🌈

Really cool video! What song was playing while watching the dolphins and who sings it?
Thank you so much ! The song is called 'In Bloom' by the artist Victor Lundberg :)
@@luttitravels Great song, thanks!
Who do you contact for a boat ride?
I went with a company called Baywatch Dolphin Tours : www.baywatchdolphintours.com/
I recommend them, I really enjoyed it :)
How much is that hotel per night? Thanks
It was about $300 for 2 nights. That was the price last August.
What month was this trip?
it was in August 2022 ! (my videos a little bit behind 😅)
@@luttitravels thanks! The weather looked so nice. I am going in April and hope to have the same warm weather!
