It is visually and pretty clearly rough around the edges, but overall, really great showing. Super happy seeing so many talented people in this community that design all of these out of passion and love for the series!
Offspring music serves to show you that you'll go insane. How cn one little street swallow so many lives? The lives you're going to lose in that nitro rush
I actually love it. There's an old school charm to it and it's much more experimental than the actual sequel games. I wish the new devs would also employ radically new ideas that fit the _Crash_ universe, including in the crate system itself (not overhauls for the sake of it like Titans/Mutants).
It’s really impressive. I really like the nitro crate zone where you had to exit the level without hitting the nitro crates. I think this is a great idea for future Crash games.
My jaw just dropped at the entire Nitro Rush part! The awesome song, nitros everywhere and more threatening, the wave of exploding nitros Crash must run away from. It felt like a huge minefield! ...And the raining nitros also bring to my mind scary flashbacks of Crash Bash's Crystal Challenge in the Jungle Bash level.
While I don't think abilities like sliding and body slamming should be temporary, I think this is a pretty cool project nevertheless! Nitro Rush especially intrigues me.
OK, having watched this in full, I will say this upfront first and foremost so that people don't get the wrong idea: *As a proof of concept/tech demo for this developer's talents and being able to make a Crash Bandicoot game in Unity, it's amazing!* As an actual demo for a fangame project, however, not so much. The problem is that, right now, it feels *too much* like a tech demo. Yes, I get it, it's called a demo for a reason. But there's a difference between a tech demo and a game demo, and this feels more like the former. And you can see it with the rapid swings from one concept to the next and sudden introduction of new ideas and mechanics. This really does feel like a proof of concept demo. That said, I might wait until a second demo for this comes along with a new level that's more streamlined and doesn't feel so 'tech demo'-esque before I give it a proper analysis. For the time being, the only feedback I can give to this developer is this: Focus in on giving the level an identity outside of its aesthetics. The best levels are remembered for how they feel to play, rather than their set pieces.

This looks dope I really like the heavy use of all the ruin architecture and all the unique camera angles. Concepts like Lani Loli's phase shift from Crash 4 being used here is cool too.

The type of Crash Game we could have had for PS2 or PS3. But longer and with more upscaled details. But hey, I love the PS1/PS2 styled graphics we see here.
Honestly this is kinda making me want a Crash equivalent of Sonic Mania. The old graphics still have a lot of potential and charm, but obviously I'd want any new mainline games to use modern graphics.
The amount of different crate types is enough to give me an aneurysm... I mean it's certainly impressive, some a these ideas are cool while others feel like mixes of two vanilla crates, but God almighty, good luck with the wordless tutorials...

A lot of very cool concepts, and I’m looking forward to updates on this. My biggest hope is that the lightning gets toned down a little. I simply couldn’t play it as-is with those frequent, harsh flashes. Even watching the video was a bit rough. Nevertheless, this is some great work and great to see!

The slowed-down warp room theme was weird enough, but then the spontaneous pop punk interlude during the Nitro Rush was ??? Altogether though, music aside, this does look really neat and I'd definitely love to see more.

This design style reminds me of some fake Crash games I used to have dreams about. They were very weird and I never liked them, kinda like Crash Bandicoot but something is very wrong here. Gameplay looks pretty good tho
