Great project, I use lots of sanding blocks several aluminum, usually use sticky back sandpaper but quickly realized cleaning up the blocks after paper changes was a PITA. Now I use wide masking tape on the blocks then add the sandpaper. Paper changes are quick and easy.
Great video! It's nice to see you back in action! If I ever get my own RUclips channel, I will have to do a version of this myself! (referencing your original video of course)
I am really happy that you posted a new video! Great work! Coincidentally I was checking your channel last week, realized that you hadn't posted for a long time and got worried.
nice to see you again, hope you are well. a good idea I always made them round but you also need square ones. I always used a file but the wooden ones are great because you can make them in different sizes, from an eighth of an inch to whatever size you need. thanks Jack.
Hi Jack, it's been many months since your last video. You look great! Thanks for uploading all the great ideas that come out of your brain. Very impressive.
Glad to see you back Jack! I was thinking the other day about needing a file like that now after seeing how you made it I’m going to make some! Thank you for sharing! Cheers!!!!
Excellent Stuff, Thank you while I missed the notification on RUclips, I was notified on Jack's Instagram post... This is a Great Idea! I always knew those scraps would be very useful 🙂
Echoing @KSFWG, Great idea. Another suggestion, use a couple coats of poly to seal/harden the surface, apply PSA sandpaper. Would make it a lot easier to change your abrasive when needed.

Okay, but the tip of file must be wooden, without sandpaper. This will make it easier to hold.
