Lots of similarities with “crypt of the necrodancer”, other than the rhythm-based turns. -in fact, the sprites animation when standing still resembles “cadence of hyrule” -checkerboard floor (but static)

But the proposal of this game is great, the mechanics like chess or checkers board is something that I have never seen but also you have also placed a combat mechanic for individual duels that is very cool and really feels special, it is truly a shame that you can only see it once in the whole demo (I would have liked to use that dynamic of individual dueling against that secret combat or secret boss (the white feline with touches of red clothes) I know you have left that secret boss ambiguous in the sense that you can't be sure if it really happened or if it was just a dream from the slip on ice, but I would like another encounter with him and face him in "duel mode". I have seen that the "duel mode" is used for serious combat, such as when you face a new enemy for the first time, so maybe it would be a good idea to implement that the first time you face the secret white feline boss you have to face him in "duel mode" and then in that other way facing him on the board wetting it with water).

I have a new idea! There could be a bar tagged as adrenaline that charges up during a boss fight taking 10 turns to charge up, when activated it gives [Char name] 2x turns for 5 turns, then needs to charge up again.
