To be fair, he did get Po’s chi. And he got defeated because of it. So now it’s not that weird to see Kai be alright with Po knowing that Po’s chi is what defeated him in the first place
How it should have ended Tai lung: maybe oogway was right about you. Lord shen: your not completely useless after all Everyone bows Kai: I think it's time, you send us home panda
That definitely would’ve been better, but it's more cost-efficient for the studio to pay 1 high profile actor to say 3 lines than it is to pay 3 high-profile actors to say 1 line each.
@@alexchang4475 personally, I think Tai, Kai and Shen should’ve said thank you to Po for restoring their chi…Kai and Shen not expressing any gratitude for what he did and them being completely silent showed that they were rude.
Now he is back in the realm giving Chamelion the pressure points for the rest of her life which would be humilating for her. That or each get their turn torturing her.
Tai Lung I can kind of understand with enough development. He’s had years to think about his place in everything. But Shen and Kai? I can’t even fathom it.
Well one thing you can argue is that time could pass differently in the spirit realm. However Shen had a few years in the realm already unlike Kai. But realistically, what are they going to do? They're spirits.
General Kai: I gave you something Po, I was pretty bad at stealing all the chi masters, and you know that your chi is more important than protecting China, Oogway will be proud of you

My speculation is that the spirit realm calms malicious thoughts and after being in it for months the villains became peaceful. Kai was only violent 500 years later cause he found out chi absorption gave him more malice and power hunger.
That would be awesome but I think it would be unfair to include Kai since he would most likely solo splinter but I'm not sure in this movie since he seems weaker.
When I watch the movie I thought that po old villains will get their revenge on po but they have respect him since they were his enemies from the past.
I remember seeing people theorize that they’d give Tai Lung a redemption arc in this. I knew damn well that wasn’t going to happen, but I’m glad they gave him this new found respect, which is the closest thing to “redemption” we’ll get Although I don’t buy Kai or Shen respecting Po all of a sudden tbh
I can kind of see Kai admiring the impressive power and determination Po had, like respect for your enemy type deal as he was still a militaristic brute, but never with Shen. He was a narcissistic, spoiled scumbag and would never look proudly on anyone but his own accomplishments. To be honest, it doesn't look like Shen is even respecting Po here, but I could be wrong.
@@theshamegame2787 You have no idea how the spirit world works for even the hardest of hearts you know. It doesn't matter what life those other villains had been living, they had all been finding their own peace.
Tbh, I think this scene is actually really cool. It's nice to see all previous vilians respecting Po as a fighter. It would've been really cool if Tai Lung and other vilians also got some kind of redemption arc but, I guess not today (which is sad-)
I can understand Tai Lung showing respect to Po. But Shen? The most hateful and paranoid villain in the series? And Kai? Who shouldn't even be here? My finger is pointed at Mitchell for this atrocity.
Now tai lung waits in the next world for their fated rematch but at the rate po is growing he may transend a finite lifespan before he is done, but tailung expects as much from his rival The Dragon Warrior
Didn’t Kai say he’ll take Po’s chi if it took him 500 years and didn’t Shen quite literally eliminate the entire panda species for no reason lol
Maybe being In the shadows realm changed him

this seems like a fever dream 😵💫💀

Fr, i don’t think shen said anything at all
Only problem is spending 2 million dollars to have Gary Oldman say this one line as Lord Shen.

Bro, Po said it's never too late to change. That was the whole damn point of the movie.
how sad that we didnt have tai lung as a next dragon warrior for reasons 😢
Well he is like 10-20 years older than po

That's a great possibility there as to why nobody attacked Po.

That is straight up not true, considering kai spent 500 years IN the spirit realm collecting every master's chi

Yeah what made Shen so good was the fact he was completely and self-inflictedly unredeemable, to the point that it caused his own demise
Tai Lung makes sense imo but the other two??? wtf
This movie was a total insult to the original trilogy and villains of the franchise. This scene proves it.
