Johnny Whitaker so popular in the 70s because of his role on “ Family Affair” Iwas such a little girl then !! Seems like another lifetime ago when I was just 5 years old to now in 2024 and 60 years old !! Wow !! This is a lovely Christmas story ❤😊

I didn't know Fred Gwynne had such a wonderful singing voice! I like this! Saw Johnny Whitaker in a movie released in 2014 called The Talking Cat! You could hardly recognize him some 45 years later!

First time I ever saw this excellent Christmas musical! The ending with little Johnny Whitaker petting the white dove brought tears to my eyes! I was 16 when this was on television back in 1969. I am assuming this was a television production! Oh well, better late than never! I give it 4 stars! Bravo!!

I remember seeing it when it first aired on December 6 1969 presented by the Hallmark Hall of Fame on NBC. I loved the shows Hallmark Hall of Fame produced, quality family entertainment.

I remember seeing this when I was 4. All I wanted was a box under my bed to hold my treasures.
    I'm 58 now. I have that box.
    Such a wonderful movie.
    Thanks for the memories.

I was just 5 years old when I saw this and I wanted to hit my head and be able to go to Heaven! I guess like the littlest Angel fell I thought. 😂 I can’t believe I’m seeing this now! I haven’t ever remembered much about it other than what I just mentioned! It will be interesting to see for sure now!

I watched it after commenting, and just as I remembered, he fell from a cliff, and went to Heaven! I can’t believe how much of an impression this film had on me, at 5 years old!
