Just wanted to thank you for the friendly smile. I saw you in Houston at the quilt festival- you were talking to someone else, but took the time to acknowledge my hello. ❤
This was very helpful. I am a newbie with a Brother 2750. Watching you with your clear explanations and handling issues as they come up gives me confidence I can do this thing. Thanks, Becky!
I did a Sweet Pea design this past weekend. My Bernina was constantly fraying the thread. I used different needles etc…. So this video made me realize that it happens to all of us. Thanks
Great video for beginners. That's what got me hooked 😝 your videos have all the information we need to be successful. Especially the boo boos and how to handle them. Thank you!!
Hi! Thank you so much for your tutorials! I'm such a fan because you're a great teacher. I am pretty new to embroidery (more of a quilter) and your videos have taught me so, so much. I am also a huge fan of Juju and also started using Embrilliance, so your videos have been a life saver! I was hoping i could make a request... I recently purchased the Christmas gift bags (with the character applique on the corners), but I am having a hard time making them. I know this is super bust time for you, and me making a request seems silly. However, if you have a list of video ideas, maybe you can through this one on it. Again, thank you so much for all you do for your viewers. I truly appreciate all your tutorials. By the way, I'm Victoria. I realized I'm using my husband Philip's sign in. 😆
I looked for Part 2 but couldn't find it. When do you expect to release the subsequent videos for this project? I am anxious to see you use your Scan n Cut on this beauty. Thank you.
Love it! I definitely want to do this as soon as my machine comes back from it’s annual servicing. Thank you for this tutorial. I’m learning so much from you!
This is going to be gorgeous! Love the Sweet Pea glitter - so sparkly. I've also tried the glitter sheets from OESD - they don't shed. This was a great video for beginners, especially showing how to recovr when you have an "oops".
Becky, I am getting so excited watching your videos. I purchased a Brother Scan and Cut about 5 years ago. It works great on paper cutting. I wanted to cut appliqué patterns with it and was very disappointed. The fabric mat was too sticky and I was getting confused and cutting my pieces mirror image. My question now is will I be able to transfer my designs to a Bernina machine?
Absolutely. The SNC doesn't connect with your embroidery machine at all. I didn't connect it with the Luminaire in this video either. Just because the SNC is made by Brother, doesn't mean that it only works with Brother machines. The sky is the limit!
Hi Becky, I was so happy to meet you in Houston at the Quilt Festival. I really learned so much when you did the Chicken Salad quilt. You are an excellent instructor, and I was wondering if you ever provide written instructions.
This was a very informative video. I appreciate the tips on dealing with the boo-boos! I really like your presentations and missed you while you were in Houston although I know you had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing! Helen from Idaho.
My Brother Dreamweaver 6200D sew/embroidery machine does that also. It does not do well on dense designs. I spoke to my dealer. I was told I could purchase a program which would lessen the stitches in dense designs. The program was over $1000.00 years ago. I stay away from very dense stitching. Maybe you should have done this design on your multiple needle embroidery machines. For the costs of these machines, they need to fix the dense stitching issues.
Embrilliance Density Repair Kit (DRK) does that as well for much less! lol But, not everyone has that so I didn't attempt it. Another fix might be a heavier needle if I wanted to swap out to the 80/12 which has a little bit larger eye. However, I was so close to finishing I just stuck it out. :)
That's actually a panel that I just added borders to. The pattern is from the fabric company so it was a freebie. Sorry but I can't recall where it came from. I think I talk about it on one of my videos after our trip to Florida earlier this year. I got the panel & fabrics in Orange Park, FL.
SF101 is great for heavy fill stitches that cover a large area. This project really only had satin outlines and then some heavy stitching in the center but nothing that would create puckering due to pull compensation. Stitching on the stabilizer and batting was enough to keep any puckering away. Great question!

Oh my I love those boxes that hold the stabilizers.
Thanks for all the tips when machine is not happy! Great video!

So appreciate your single needle videos. With you talking through things you have given me some ah hah moments. Thanks!

This looks stunning already . Love you don’t edit out the shredding bits or anything , because we all know these things do happen .

I agree Kingstar metallic thread is the best!
Thanks Becky for showing us what to do when things go wrong! Super helpful!!
Absolute great video for beginner embroiders. Can't wait to see your finished product!

There was an extra layer of fabric too that might have added to the thickness and shredding.

Beautiful job, Becky!😊
Wow! It is gorgeous!!
Thank you! 😊
Can we expect anymore tutorials on the Kimberbell Cutie Table Toppers? These seemed to just stop.
Yes ma'am! Novembers is coming. I'm a little behind because of Quilt Market & Festival. But Jan - Oct are out there!

Tell me more about the fabric and where you get it, please.
All the info for the fabric is in the description box of the video. I always link to everything I show below the video.

So beautiful! What size needle did you use?

When does the next video come out. Part2?
Great instructional video. Question: Why didn’t you use SF 101 on your background fabric this time.
