Music Healing Series Mission - Music, relaxation and stress management through the use of music can be an especially effective tool for stress management, better health, and well-being throughout daily life. With the music series, we attempted to be patient advocates to address patient’s needs to assist the healing process by using live music for therapeutic purposes. Our approach was to create an innovative, enhanced, compelling, caring and welcoming environment at the Mills Breast Cancer Institute. The original Music Healing Series offered a prescription of weekly dosages of rhythm, harmony, timbre, and smiles.
