It’s got to be always on! When I’m playing cards or at Bible Study, I can see the time!! There are more and more Dynamic Island apps, which is cool!
My first " pro maX" phone .... this is the Cadillac Escalade of iPhones .... took off always on ... now I'm in love .. thanks for your video😊
I love this thing! I use it for professional television commercials has become cutaway b-roll cam. It's incredible The cinematic settings of course you don't want your f-stop set too low you get the cheesy glow for the artificial depth-of-field but if you set it around four or five it's incredibly realistic. Go iPhone also I'm probably the only person in America that keeps the phone in a waterproof box with no service and uses it only as a video camera. LOL
One of my favorite features is the action mode where you can move and it’ll keep the camera straight. Like example you’re running. It won’t show your camera shaking. I also love the dynamic island.
But the quality sucks

I’ll be getting my 14 pro max today! I have a 12 pro max and am most excited about the 14 pro maxs cameras and the promotion display. I do videography, and we have shoot many music videos on iPhone already so.
Been using this for more than 2 months! Dynamic Island always amaze me hahaha and it is always a stand to any other iPhones!

Finally a pro max user again sheesh I had a 12 pm then the regular 14 for about two months now I’m back with 14 pro max and I love the smoothness between apps …camera is bomb and the dynamic island is always so happy lol

My battery seems to drain fast. Kind of disappointed to be honest. The first day it worked great.

I had my iPhone 14 Pro Max since release and love two main features. 1st is the dynamic island and the way it behaves and 2. The always on display that links with the many different focus modes backgrounds and widgets with its many ways to trigger the focus mode on. Once setup to the way you like it, it works seamlessly and is very useful.
How do you trigger focus mode and what do you use it for

Do Not Disturb
Church
Beach
Driving
Fitness
Movie
Personal
Sleep
Work
Focus lets you customise your devices and silence calls and notifications. Turn it on and off in Control Centre.
Share Across Devices
Focus is shared across your devices, and turning one on for this device will turn it on for all of them.
Focus Status On
When you give an app permission, it can share that you have notifications silenced when using Focus.
To trigger your various focus modes go into settings then focus and then can schedule the time or location that you want each separate focus mode on for and then who can call you or send you messages and what app notifications you prefer for that focus mode.
When I go to turn on “always on” , it turns green, but it doesn’t go to the screen that shows on his phone where u can toggle to turn wallpaper on/off etc. I’ve tried EVERYTHING!!!! What am I doing wrong? 😫
@@reneadial to adjust the ‘Always On’ display settings on/off go to settings on your iPhone, then Display & Brightness, then scroll down to ‘Always On Display’ and tap to change any settings.
@@jamesbarrett9783 When I tap to turn it on, it turns green , and then that’s it. It doesn’t take me to the page where u can toggle to make ur background & notifications private , or anything.

SINCE 16.2 the always on display is pretty dope. Apple is always late to the party with features but since 16.2 implements it wayy better.

One other thing I would do in regards to the camera is go into photographic styles in settings and switch it to Rich Contrast, then in the camera app, drop the exposure down to -0.3.
It makes a big difference to your photos.

@@BluBliTZ012 I use RAW for most of my photos and use the -0.3 unless in low light. Then I run with 0 or +0.3. Sometimes I’ll exposure bracket when using a tripod.

Do you think having live activities on all the time will affect battery health? Not drain the battery’s charge faster, but actually cause the battery to degrade? I know it will probably cause the charge to drain faster, worried about degrading the battery.
i think battery usually degrades mostly from heat. So try to avoid using your phone when charging or anything that causes it to heat up.

I went from a Pro Max 11 to a Pro Max 14 and have to say I'm not disappointed. I'm wondering is the sound quality better in the 14 than the 11? Thanks for the tips.
i went from the base 11 to the 14 pro max im having issues with it though but i think is because my old phone wasnt updated all the way my apps and games stutter glitch stuff like that and closes out of apps or does some random stuff so im taking it to my local apple store and seeing if they can help me with it if they cant im probably going back to my iphone 11
I also went from 11 pro max to 14 pro max. It wasn't nearly as drastic as my previous jump, a 6S Plus to the 11 pro max. I like the camera. LIDAR assisted autofocus is just amazing.

Most tech reviewers are heavily biased towards favouring the S23 Ultra and condescending the Dynamic Island stating it's a gimmick and not useful. Yet here you are putting the DI in the spotlight for all it's worth
It’s not a gimmick but it’s not useful right now. At least not on a daily basis
I just got a iPhone 14 pro max and I hate the always on display. I turned it off in the first 20 minutes. I don’t need to see my screen when I’m not using my phone.
