This is a great song,I have had the great privilege of seeing aurora live in concert and she opens her concert with this song, trust me it gets everyone there in the palm of her hand with all the emotions that only she can deliver,I've been to many concerts and none has moved me in the same way as this young artist, every song moves you deeply and makes you think about all aspects of life, her songwriting is on a different level and when you add her voice wow!. For me in this moment of time she is the best singer songwriter out there no one comes close, forget your mainstream music this girl is special Aurora =Genius.

Really enjoyed your reaction! AURORA is like no other singer/songwriter on the scene today! She's 100% herself, and the world is a better place because of it! I look forward to the resumption of live concerts -- I plan to attend one (or hopefully more) featuring AURORA and her band!

If you've embarked on this journey into Aurora's music, I'm here. And when you are uncertain between one song and another, choose an interview with her. New subscriber.

Hi friend. Best of luck with the email-thing. Be advised, she has pretty much pulled the plug on the internet this year (only drops of information saying that she is making a TON of new music while being in a good place).
Oh - upon reflection I want to thank you collectively known as "reactors". I think that label is a bit bad. First, you (collectively) introduce me to music I have not heard before. Secondly, you invite me to your "first listen" - a bit as we kids did back in the late 70s/80s whenever one of us kids was gifted a record or had come across enough money to buy one. It is a precious experience to share a first listen or a new discovery (later we became quite handy with cassette-recorders, capturing a new song from the radio, to share with friends later with the excitement of "have you heard THIS? as the walkman was invented).
During this less than ideal year, I have found myself grinning at my laptop with this moment of joy of a stranger - thinking to myself - "Damned right you are - you get it too, my friend". I have seen a new generation discovering "Rage against the Machine" and Tool from 3 decades ago. Allowing me to rediscover my heroes again right along-side them. I have been introduced to new music (like Snarky Puppy - boy did "We like it here" and "Something" with Lalah Hathaway blow my socks off).
So a big thanks to yourself and the many fine "reactors" out there. I know from child- and adulthood that it is quite intimate to share a song one likes or to discover a song many loves. In the case of Aurora - it is so cool that us gentlemen who may come through as leaning towards Led Zeppelin can see that this "girl singer-songwriter" is making stuff speaking to us bastards. Just like it makes me so happy to see millennials rediscovering RATM and things I came of age with. It is way more than fan-service.
Have solid and good holidays with as many as this year allows. And keep the music coming.
Here is a Christmas gift/someone else who deserves more attention. Her name is Eivør and is from the Faroe Islands. Having watched many of your reactions I know she will blow your mind.

You may thank me later - and you are totally correct in concluding that we Nordic dudes are surrounded by more bad-ass women than most of us deserve.
So here comes a second present. This is Aurora backing up a band called Wardruna - singing the Norse mythology of after-life. Norse mythology had this idea about after-life that your soul will exist in Hel (which is nothing like Christian "hell") as long as the living remembers you for your good deeds when alive. The lyrics "who will sing your song" - reflect upon this was how we remembered - via songs and poetry before Eddaic literature was written down around 900 years ago.
