So glad to hear this! Every ancient Roman city leaves us in awe and this is something so exciting and different with every one we see. Thanks for watching!
Early bird catches the worm.. I visited over 20 years ago. I had just a limited amount of camera film on a 12 week overland trip from Istanbul to Aswan (via Syria, Lebanon and Jordan). So I used a precious camera shot for the Library at Ephesus. It was a beauty. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.
I love your videos! I'm sending your link to my friends that have kids, some of them home school. What an awesome history lesson for the kids to see!! Good luck with your travels and stay safe!
Thank you so much! We love history and showing off these awesome places. Check out our video on Gobekli Tepe. It was our favorite. Thank you for watching and sharing our videos. Every little bit helps us get to the next destination. 😃
I am so glad we found you guys. We will be visiting Ephesus later this summer and searched that and saw our first Sosa RUclips video. You are so informative, easy to understand and funny. I have been watching you all over the world and am deeply envious of your life.
We are glad you found us too! Turkey is at the top of our list of countries we want to return to. Nothing makes us happier than hearing someone is along for the ride. We hope you have a fantastic time in Turkey!
I discovered you a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed your videos so much. You are both truly talented at what you do and I hope you keep up the good work! Rock on!
Thank you so much for your kind words and following along! Hopefully our videos will allow us to continue traveling. Every subscriber and view helps us make it to the next destination. A lot more to come! 😃
Today I was reading in my Bible about the Riot in Ephesus in Acts 19 as well as reading the study notes about the Temple of Artemis, so it peaked my interest so I looked it up on RUclips and found this video. Very informative, I really enjoyed the content. It amazes me that something so grand and beautiful in it's time is dwindled down to heaps of stones and 1 standing pillar. I look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.
It is a shame 1 recreated pillar is all that remains but makes the remaining structures in Ephesus all the more incredible. The feeling you get knowing the history that took place in those exact spots is indescribable. Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel!
I especially enjoy any of your videos involving ruins. Ephesus is a bucket list place along with Cappadocia. The amphitheater was the location of the riot mentioned in Acts 19. I enjoyed Amber getting in her floors at that place.
Great video - learnt a lot about both sites. Getting there before the tourist coaches is great advice. Did you also go into the Ephesus museum in town where the internal treasures are kept? Looking forward to Gobekli Tepe and Catalhoyuk if you get there.
The MARBLE from the ruin was moved inland to build a Christian church. That is why there is so little left laying around. Also, that single column is not an original. It was "made up" of drums that were laying around the side. Sort of a tourist thing.
Thank you! for going to Ephesus... this was one of the most fascinating videos for me! What a Treasure!

Thank you for providing the historical background.
Glad to hear you like the history! After all, it is one of the main reasons you should see this site. Thanks for watching!

I’m not into history at all but this makes me want to travel even more now! I hope you get to visit the Great Pyramid SOON!!
We will teach you the cool history, Rachelle! I do not think the Great Pyramids are in our immediate future. One day hopefully!

If you enjoy ruins then then you may love our next video! Jerash was another favorite ruin city. Cappadocia may be in our future as well. Stay tuned!

Glad we could teach you something! We did not head to the museum in Selcuk but keep an eye out for a Gobekli Tepe video! Thanks for watching 😃
Hi, may I know the name of the place that you stayed in Selcuk? Love your video! :)
The temple of the goddess Artemis, also known as Artemision, didn't just burn down, it was set alight by an attention-hungry arsonist.
The MARBLE from the ruin was moved inland to build a Christian church. That is why there is so little left laying around. Also, that single column is not an original. It was "made up" of drums that were laying around the side. Sort of a tourist thing.
