I won't bother pointing out all the brilliant jokes because I would be here all day. And as usual, I can't help but absolutely love every bit of dialogue that comes out of The Girl's mouth. But getting into the serious bit for a second... I LOVE that you chose Monika for this. Monika is, I think most people would agree, incredibly beautiful and traditionally what you would consider "hot". Most girls in the world would envy her body. And this just makes her the perfect choice for this. We've seen throughout DDLC how confident she can be in her own abilities. But body dysmorphia does not pick sides. It does not matter how fun and outgoing your personality is. It doesn't matter how perfect your body may be by traditional standards. Mental health is, for all intents and purposes, still a mystery we all try our best to deal with. There are no right or wrong answers. There are no equations to happiness, or satisfaction. Sure, some patterns emerge here or there, but each person is different in their own way. Body dysmorphia can affect anyone. Goes for any mental health issue really. And what's important is to be there for people suffering through it. Like Monika's friends do here. Don't just try to convince them everything will be just fine. Don't outright go against their prejudice they might have against themselves. Lend them a shoulder. Listen to what they have to say. Support them in their endeavors to get better, little by little. And thank you Anne, for once again being one of the few people trying to shine a light in these very real problems
I see that you and I understand each other ^_^ This is a very good point indeed, what we see may not match what we know For example : - A bald person could very well be under cancer treatment - An obese person could have a disease that makes them gain weight - A person with burnt skin could have risked their life by being a firefighter... This is the basis of what is commonly called "prejudice", caused by our inability to seek in depth the information necessary for a good understanding of the situation of the person concerned. In any case, always a pleasure to read your analyzes
It's really nice to see the dokis finally relax again. I feel like for a while it's been kind of stressful for all of us so to just see them relaxing and having a nice time together on the beach is really heart-warming.

As a person who suffers the same (coincidentally in the same places too) I completely understand when I was younger I was hesitant to even go in a pool
You have to remember the base game is really dark and natsuki is a child abuse victim so it’s likely her father dosent let her go out during breaks the only time she gets with her friends is in school or in projects the reason she petite is because she malnourished too likely because her dad doesn’t feed her and there’s a couple secret poems from her in the base game that surport this and most modders try to make there mods as lore friendly as possible
