Yes Crawford re-hydrated to around 170 for the Madrimov fight but he also lost that fight in the minds of many boxing fans. Madrimov nearly beat Crawford. The fight could have been ruled a draw that's how close it was. Madrimov is inexperience with 11 Pro fights and he is not on the PVP list. He's not on the same level as Canelo. Crawford did not look very good in that fight. He definitely did not look as good as the man that beat Spence. That was only 1 weight class up at 154, Crawford will have to jump 2 more weight classes to fight Canelo and a no re-hydration clause not active which means Canelo could re-hydrate bigger as well. Crawford has also been rocked inside the ring by lesser competition while Canelo is known to have a granite chin. I have Canelo winning by UD or KO. There are weight classes for a reason. Sometimes speed and power don't transition well with the weight. I can almost guarantee once Crawford starts to feel Canelo's power he will start to pull back a bit. Look at Charlo for an example.
Canelo should pull a 1st round KO just to prove a point about divisions. Canelo has perhaps the best timing in boxing(Jab) no matter the reach and height advantages his opponents in the past have had. If it don't happen early(KO) it will happen between the 6 and no more than the 10th round unless Crawford pulls another Charlo moment and gets on his tour the France mode to survive the match to a decision witch wouldn't surprise me.
